When we designed Ecopots more than ten years ago, no one had heard about the ‘plastic soup’. No one was thinking about using recycled materials for their flower pots and planters. But we did. We saw the need and potential to use recycled materials for our products and continue to do so today. But that’s only half the story. Design and functionality are equally important to us.

Ecopots follows the Scandinavian design philosophy. In short, this philosophy is about creating a calm and clutter free home as a counter balance to hectic and stressful daily lives. It is being characterized by clean and simple lines, minimalism and the use of natural colours and materials.

Elegant modern design
Pots are durable, color looks like a beautiful natural clay, perfect size to frame garage at end of driveway.Item is exactly as described and very well designed.I’m very pleased with material and functionality.( drain hole at bottom of pot). Great value since it’s practically indestructible.

Can’t be this for the price!
Love this planter. It’s sturdy without being too heavy. Great for my 5ft tall fiddle leaf fig. Since it’s lightweight it makes repositioning easy.

Love this pot
Looks like a real clay pot. But very light weight. Is working well for me. I found a red flowering Vinca plant, already potted in a large but ugly nursery pot, and just slipped the whole thing into the new ECO pot. It’s been a couple of months; the Vinca is thriving and it looks beautiful. The terracotta is a very light color.

Obvious flaw
The pot has a line all the way around it that’s clearly a flaw. Update: I used some light to medium grade sandpaper and was able to get it off. Use the sandpaper in one direction, not back and forth. Because of the texture of the material, it works like a charm! Pot looks great now!

Got this to plant a japanese maple tree. It’s very durable and I like that the pot is lighter than ceramic so the tree can be moved away from the house when we need to clean the roof or siding.
