Very large kit with everything needed if you are into basic candle making. The wife and I do very basic work. We are far from professionals and like to keep it simple for home use. It has everything we needed. There is not really a scent but mixing in the essential oils seems to make a difference. Any wick placement will require a little more practice than you would expect. Either that or i am just clumsy. The wife seems to have an easier time.

Doesn’t work well, leaves stains and pores
It melts well and doesn’t smell bad, but it doesn’t work properly. It leaves a lot of pores, doesn’t mix well with colors, and ends up leaving white stains. I wouldn’t recommend it for mold candles.Derrite bien y no huele mal, pero no trabaja como debería. Deja muchos poros, no se mezcla bien con los colores y termina dejando manchas blancas. Para velas de molde, no la recomiendo.

Perfect for the enthusiast or hobbyist.
In her candle making, my wife uses a good bit of soy wax. It’s a softer wax, with a lower melting point, but she likes to make the votive and tea lights for Christmas gifts. This is a great value, given that it comes with the wicks and centering devices. Soy also cools faster than parafin or carnouba waxes. Being a softer wax, it also retains aroma, when she chooses to scent the candles.This is also an ideal material for filling decorative glass containers (larger than 2-4 oz.) whenever she chooses to make those. At the price point offered, with the additional provided items, this is a very good value. Soy is very simple to use in wax melting pots with spouts (of which she has two). All in all, this kit can be recommended without reservation for the hobbyist. People who make candles professionally or as a business are likely better off buying in greater bulk (better price). For the enthusiast, definitely worthwhile.

Great wax
This candle wax is great. It comes with enough wicks and stickers to make 100 candles, and 2 centering devices. The wicks are long enough for my needs, but they are 15 cm so might not be long enough for tall candles. The wax has a very mild smell and will not overpower added scents. The flakes melt better than pellets. At $34 for 10 lbs, this is a good deal.

Soy, Oh Boy!
This is a great set of wax flakes! We are learning to make our own candles and I am always looking for natural soy wax to use. This set comes with wicks, wick setting stickers and a couple of metal wick placement holders for when you pour the wax. This set will make a lot of nice candles for us and they burn quite nicely as well if you get the placement of the wicks centered properly- which is easy enough with practice!

Candle Heaven
This kit contains enough wax to make many, many candles. The wax comes in 4 bags along with a bag of stickers, a bag of wicks, and a couple of centering devices. We have lots of fragrance and essential oils that might not hold up in cold process soap recipes, but they’re perfect for candles. Now we can give out cute scented candles as gifts and even our weird vegan friends can enjoy them.
