Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

Build Those Muscles In Style
I am really liking these new gloves by Schiek. They feel very comfortable when I am wearing them and they don’t make my hands get all sweaty. I like the fins on the fingers for getting the glove off after a workout. They make pulling the glove off very simple. The wrist strap is functional and comfortable. The strap is easily adjusted if you need it to be tighter, simply wind the strap around your wrist there is velcro that it attaches to and holds well. My hands feel well protected without there being too much fabric bunching up and in the way. The glove fingers cover exactly one half of my fingers right up to the middle knuckle on each one. I recommend going to the Schiek website for sizing the gloves. I would have sworn I had average medium sized hands. But when I measured according to the Schiek website I found that I should order a small. So I ordered the small and it fits like a glove (pun intended). You know what else? These gloves look so damned good on me when I am wearing them with the black and tan.Update 12/12/12 – Two years in and still using these gloves. They have been great. I work out at the gym with free weights an average of three times per week. There are no tears in them yet, no holes anywhere. The velcro on the wrist straps are still holding tightly. My hands and fingers are completely and comfortably protected. I wash them in the sink in warm water and a little soap about every three weeks or so. Rinse them in clear water, then hang them by the wrist straps to dry on the shower rack. They dry in about 24 hours or so. I was just wearing them today as a matter of fact. Love those fins. Love the black and tan.Update 11/28/15 – Hard to believe it has been nearly 5 years since I wrote this review. I am still wearing the same pair of gloves at the gym. I still go 3 times a week and wear them a hour each session. They are fully intact except for just a small little tear around one of the wrist straps. That’s it, everything else about them is still perfect and functional after 5 years. That includes hand washing them regularly too.

Expensive but great
Very high quality American made gloves. They are very easy to put on, but more so, very easy to take off which is not always the case without workout gloves. It is a high quality leather, though a little stiff for the first couple uses since it is leather, but they become pliable pretty quickly. These will likely last years, rather than about 6 months for standard workout gloves By far the best gloves I’ve ever bought in 30 years of lifting and well worth the price and the 2-3 week wait I had to get them. If you want quality and don’t mind a couple week wait it’s worth it. For me, I just kept using my older gloves that lasted about 4 months until these arrived and I’ve been using these for about a month now and love them.

Great lifting gloves, with superb wrist support!
After researching several lifting gloves with wrist support I decided to go with these. Note that I am not a professional or even amateur lifter. I lift and weight train almost daily in addition to cardio and require significant wrist support due to a wrist injury (right scaphoid nonunion).I had narrowed the possible gloves (with wrist wraps) to the Schiek 540, Schiek 425, and Harbinger 1250. I ultimately went with the Schiek 425 mostly because of the 1/2″ finger length, compared to the 3/4″ finger length of the other two gloves – I felt the 3/4″ length would be too restrictive. Also, I had already had very positive experiences with Schiek products (1000-DLS Dowel Lifting Straps and 1100-WS Wrist Supports).I am very happy with the overall quality of the glove. It’s extremely comfortable and provides the desired wrist support. The only issue I have had is that after about 3 weeks of daily use the straps began to rip at the seam locations where the labels are sewn on. Note that I believe that this was due to my pulling the straps extremely tight around my small wrists. This tearing was small and did not affect the function. Unfortunately, the label seam stitching seems to weaken the strap, causing the label seams to be the limiting factor in the wrap.I did decide to exchange the gloves for a new pair and had an extremely positive experience with Schiek. They are sending me a new pair immediately with no fuss. With the new gloves, I will not pull the wraps quite as tight and may decide to remove the strap label to prevent ripping at the label seam. And even if they do begin to rip again, I will use them for the extent of their lifetime, which I suspect will not be greatly affected by the described ripping issue.

Durable high quality workout gloves.
I got these in a size 2XL. They fit great, easy to pull off, and get the job done! Great value.

Better after Using a While
They seemed so stiff when I got them, but after using a while they broke in nicely and are very comfortable to use.Seem like they will last a long time. Didn’t see anything to indicate where they were made; hopefully the company still makes them in the US. That was a primary reason I bought them.
Occasional Critic –
Properly cut! Quality feel.
The Large size actually is a Large …. not a medium or extra-large … thank you for that. The tabs to pull off the gloves easily after a sweaty workout … thank you for that.Well made and comfortable … thanks.Padding is moderate. Enough to protect without getting in the way.Hint: I have wrist issues and I found that wrapping the first bit of wrist strap straight, level, and not too tight …then gradually angling toward my knuckles while adding tightness, gives me the best wrist support.I would have preferred all-black (but at least it’s not fluorescent!)This is the third brand I’ve used and the best so far. I would love to see a manufacturer make an “articulated” padded palm for comfort combined with easy movement … hey Schiek … free million dollar idea! (Probably have to charge a thousand per pair!).
