Versatile product
Great design with a large ice reservoir. We find the design allows secure placement on the head, knees, or shoulder. Overall a very good and versatile product. BTW, after inserting ice cubes add some water for instant cold rather than wait for the ice cubes to begin melting.

Best Ice Bag I’ve Ever Found
I’ve been using these and giving them away for about 6 years, and they’re easily the best ice pack system for pain relief. The sleeve is absolutely perfectly engineered to prevent condensation and insulate from cold burns.

Pretty Darn Good
I couldn’t find a good classic H shaped neoprene ice bag holder to replace the old one by Body Glove, so I gave this one a whirl. It’s worked out very well. I don’t use the included ice pack as my holdovers from Body Glove are bigger, still leakproof, and have a nicer outer material.The Velcro on this product is STRONG; when it’s time to remove the pack, I can’t just casually undo the Velcro bond; gotta focus and apply some hand strength. The only minor downside is that because the wrap doesn’t have the full H shape straps (at least a foot of strap extending from all four corners of the section that holds the ice pack), the pack can start to stick out a bit. When that happens, the ice pack is still in contact with the area, but with less compression. I’d give it four and a half stars, deducting a half for the non H design and the overly strong Velcro grip (but better too strong than not strong enough, I just wonder if the wrap material is going to wear out faster as a result)

A Lifesaver!
Or rather, an ankle saver! I broke my ankle and was sent home to get the swelling down by both elevating my foot and putting ice on it. That’s a pretty good balancing act! I saw this on Amazon, and it is perfect! I also ordered small plastic ice cubes, so, when the cubes warm up, I just throw the whole thing in the freezer. I have another ice bag, also filled with plastic cubes, so it’s easy to keep them rotating. Simple!Get this: you will be glad you did!

Stays in place and stays dry!
I’ve had similar ice bags in the past; one was fully plastic and one that was cloth. Both had their pluses and minuses. This one is the best one I’ve owned. The material is magic and doesn’t get wet with condensation or allow the water to leak through, which was a problem with each of the others I’ve owned. But the best part of this is the wrap that it fits into. No more having to sit perfectly still or in just the correct stance to make sure that the bag doesn’t slip or fall. I’m a big girl and it fits me well. I’m annoyed with myself for not making this purchase sooner.

Not Quite Effective
After my knee surgery, frequent icing is part of the aftercare. The Mueller ice bag wrap could not maintain a cold enough temperature for any length of time that was effective. I even mixed equal parts of water and rubbing alcohol, as one reviewer suggested. This was convenient, for I didn’t need to empty the water and then refill with ice cubes each time – just refreeze – but still, it wasn’t that cold. However, what I found very effective was making a cold pack with a bag of frozen corn or peas and putting it in a ziplock bag. The cold pack maintained a consistently cold temperature that was very effective, because of the large amount of surface area from all the corn or peas. Moreover, I could shape it around the knee to cool both the lateral and medial sides. It’s also very effective for icing the shoulders, too.

Perfect to hold ice pack on while moving or resting.We use a lot of ice packs and this is very helpful for shoulder or knee to hold in place!We got an extra ice pack and it fits right in!

This has come in very handy after my partner had a knee replacement. The ability to have it strapped in place without needing to hold it has been so helpful. I also read about using isopropyl alcohol and water together to make a slushie like ice bag and so far this has worked really well (had to play around with proportions to get it to freeze but still be squishy) I’ve no idea if this will break down the lining of the bag over time? I purchased another single Mueller ice bag to go with this set so I’ve always got a frozen one on hand whilst we’re using one.
