I am really pleased with my purchase of this book, Praise of Mercy. I was looking for prelude music and it was perfect for the service. Well known, recognizable hymns of praise. I was so appreciative that it was not so difficult, yet not so simplistic that it sounded empty or like a standard hymnal piece. I will for sure enjoy playing from this book, for my own enjoyment and for opportunities that arise, for many years to come. I sincerely thank the arranger for her sensitivity and heart poured into this collection of hymns.

Beautiful piano solos
Beautifully arranged music that works well in a church setting. Intermediate level difficulty. My one criticism would be the book doesn’t lay flat because it isn’t spiral bound.

I tried to purchase the kindle version of this hymn collection and it was only the cover art not the whole book. I had to return. I would have loved to play these hymns. Hope the kindle version is fixed soon.

It’s a nice intermediate level book with a strong song selection, but there are no words for the songs. Quite disappointing. I guess maybe she figured everyone just knows the words?
