Excellent quality
Fast shipping. No damage or flaws. Everything thing works and came with all the parts. This is a much better quality salt lamp than the one I owned before and I had bought and picked it out in a physical store. Everything about it is better. It’s larger and heavier It has a better color and form. It dims. I’m not feeling any heat from it but I have it on a lower setting. The part that holds the bulb inside is much better than my old one. It stays in place. I have a plate underneath it just in case. Very happy with my purchase.

This was bought as a present for a young girl who was fascinated by lit-from-below semitransparent stones at a gem and mineral display. The recipient was happy to get it and immediately put it to use as a night light. It is as heavy as one would expect for a rock of this size. It glows with a pleasant pink glow at night with the included dimmer set to low.

Almost Perfect Little Light
I’ve owned many salt lamps before and I was hesitant to buy on Amazon because each salt crystal looks a bit different. In store, I would open boxes to look at the crystals because sometimes they can appear dirty or white or brown instead of pink. I decided to take a chance online since I haven’t seen any in stores lately and I was happy to receive one that met my expectations. Its the right size, the right color and has a beautiful clarity. The light mechanism and dimmer work without issue and it makes a wonderful soft night light for my son. My only complaint is that the dimmer switch doesn’t let me turn it as low as my other salt lamp does, so I docked a star. Its important for me to have it dim as low as possible because we share a room with our five year old and I’m also due to have a baby in November, so having the light dim as possible so I can tend to my baby or comfort my son without disturbing my husband is important to me. Otherwise, I’m very happy with this purchase and FYI to those new to salt lamps, if you live somewhere humid, make sure to keep the salt lamp’s light on, even if its very dim, to keep it warm. Keeping it warm prevents the crystal from absorbing any water molecules in the air and essentially melting your lamp. My sister had a salt lamp next to an open window all summer in humid Long Island, NY and rarely ran the A/C. It began to degrade and the crystals that melted washed up on the wooden base and started to re crystalize there in clumps. That’s why I always make sure to leave mine on.

Warm Glow Night Light
This is Exactly what I was looking for. I am not new to owning a salt lamp, this one is my 3rd (gifted or sold the previously owned) and I love how it emits a soft glow for my bedroom. Bonus it also purifies my air. I needed a soft light for when I get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. It’s about the height of my Swig 32 oz tumbler, but definitely wider. In the photo, I have it next to my LED desk lamp which is too bright, but serves it’s purpose when I’m working on my laptop. Get it! It was less than $20! Perfect size and price! Thank you Amazon.

Evidentially, I didn’t read the product info carefully enough so when I see it’s dimmable I was so excited!!! It also comes with two bulbs. This is a great product for the price- much less expensive than the ones at Earthbound.
