Got this for my room and I do love the different tones as they all get the attention of my students differently but it can be quiet if I don’t hit it very hard. I’ve used one of these before that was only one chime and it wasn’t nearly as quiet but I like it.

Attention Grabber in the Classroom
As loud as a classroom can get, this chime can get all the attention within three chimes. I usually use one sound, 80% of the class hears. On the second chime, I explain that I want 100% attention- works every time. I give directions and on the third chime kids start to work. Real game changer.

I was a bit skeptical from some reviews about the mallet. But both mallets perfect for this product. You don’t need anything bigger! I hit the chimes hard enough and they are just fine. The sounds of all 3 chimes are soothing with a lingering reverb. I love each chime individually as well a combination of 2 or 3. I will use this for guided meditations, to start and end a session.

I couldn’t find anywhere what the tones are for this chime but they are Do Re Mi. I guess I should have figured that from the picture.It is C D E. I didn’t measure the actual hz but sounds like C6. Sounds pretty clear.

High pitched like a wind chime. I still use it in the classroom but had a lower pitch in mind for getting class’s attention and lowering the “excited vibe” of the class. Need a gong but they are expensive…
