Has 3 brightness and color temps. Battery lasts long time. That little curve makes the light shine in my eyes so I bend it down or use it for other tasks. Other than that it’s has good color and brightness and lightweight

Great travel light as a flashlight, nightlight, reading light. Runs a long time.
I use it traveling anytime I need a flashlight in a room, the car, etc. It’s quite bright for it’s size. I use it as a nightlight so I don’t need to turn on a light. On low and with the amber light I can see the whole room well enough to not trip on something and it will go for a couple of nights. Face it away from your eyes and it isn’t so bright it will keep you awake. It sits on a flat surface easily. Charge light is convenient. Nice if the power goes out and more useful than a regular flashlight because it will sit flat or clip on to something. The flexible neck gives you a wide spread of positions and while it is lightweight it is heavy enough to sit on a flat surface and face down without falling over. Charges pretty fast, too. 3 colors and 3 levels is useful.Very useful for such a small light. Recommended.

An excellent, lightweight book light.
This light is small in size, but big in performance. I was a little alarmed at how small and light the box was when it arrived – to the point where I was worried that it was either the wrong product, or that the book light would be toy-like. I needn’t have worried. This light is much smaller and much lighter in weight than my previous rechargeable LED book light – but it performs even better and has a few more useful features. It is very well designed and solidly constructed. The light is bright and dispersion is good; it easily lights a standard paperback or hardback book, pages open.The three colors of light are about as expected – except that the amber color setting is very, very warm. Think campfire-embers type warm. The three colors are easily selected by a toggle on the top of the light head. I read by the mid-range light. The amber light is useful if we want to use this book light as a kind of bed-side night light if someone is climbing into bed later.The three light levels are also as-expected, and range from fairly dim to quite strong. They’re fine – and easily selected by another button on the top of the light head. It would be nice to have a simple on/off switch instead of having to toggle through the light levels (which are: dim, mid, bright, and ‘off’), but that’s not a big complaint. The other benefits and features of this light more than offset this shortcoming.This Glocusent book light runs circles around my older light. It just does the job better and is easier to live with … and handsomer to look at, too. There might be better book lights out there, but I haven’t see one that beats this. We’ll be ordering another.

Highly Recommend
I bought this for reading before bed. I wanted something without the harsh white light. As I’ve gotten older I’ve become more sensitive to bright lights at night. I love the soft color of this light. It’s bright enough that I’ve only used it on the lowest setting and am still able to read easily. It’s easy to position in all directions, yet stays in that position. The clip is solid and holds well without damaging the pages. The body is a good weight so it doesn’t bend the pages or book. I’ve had it for 2 months and have just now charged it for the first time. It charges quickly. I’ve been so pleased with this that I am sending them to my grandchildren who are also nighttime readers.

Great little light!
It’s always a pain to read before bed when traveling because there is either no light available or only a very bright light that keeps everyone else in the room wide awake. This little light solves that. It’s easy to operate and provides great light to read. It has different brightness settings and different light temperature settings to make it adaptable to any place you want to read. It also is small enough and light enough to be easy to travel with and it doesn’t weigh down your book or magazine. The nonslip surface on the jaws hold it firmly in place so it doesn’t slide around and have to be readjusted.

Using it daily
This is a pretty good light. Surprisingly multi-purpose: I quickly found it is great for crafting!Pros: I really like the different tones (I use white as an aid for embroidery, yellow for reading at bedtime). I love that it’s rechargeable, and the brightness levels are a nice touch. It holds a charge for a long time. Because I have used it for multiple several-hour embroidery sessions on the brightest setting before a charge was needed, I know it lasts a long time.Cons: I am very light-sensitive and in a dark room, even the lowest level on the yellow setting is pretty bright, I wish it got even dimmer. The little pad on the clip likes to flip over to the wrong side, and the hinge ends up on your book if you’re not paying attention. The shape of the tip sometimes makes it hard not to have it shining a bit in your eyes, not sure why they wrapped the light bit around like that.All in all, well worth the price and better than others I’ve had!

Glocusent seems to be a great company. Even before I had received my reading light, it had contacted me, via Amazon, of course, about the book light, just to let me know that it was there for me and any issues, questions or concerns that I may have about the item.I have used the light, and I am very happy to have gotten it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the light works perfectly.It has three colour temperatures, and all three of them work perfectly, each one having three levels of light intensity. I have only used the amber light for night reading, on the middle setting, and I had no trouble whatsoever falling asleep afterwards.The book light is just as non-invasive as described. It weighs next to nothing, and clamps onto the book like a vice, a soft vice.The neck is very nicely made, and is very movable as to be placed in many different positions.If you’re on the fence about purchasing this Glocusent book light, you can jump down and purchase it, I don’t believe you will be disappointed! Its neck light is in my sights, too.
