Good product – not the best shipping because there is no protection
So far I am really loving these reusable trays! Thanks for the great price! However, they really should come in better packing if ordering through Amazon Prime. It may be worth ordering from other big box store since this seems to be a problem with Amazon. The product itself is really good.

Wonderful product.
While I haven’t yet used them all the way to be able to reuse them, I already love them. They don’t even say in the description that the cells are labeled with letters and numbers like a grid so I can easily keep track of what I’ve planted in my phone. So much better! They feel very sturdy, love that they are stackable and thick. Such a great value for being able to reuse them for I don’t know how long but seems like they will last a long time.

I like these seed-starting trays very much. So far I have had beautiful seedlings with great root systems for my kitchen garden. My one disappointment is that I received a tray with a cracked bottom tray, which I returned and got a replacement for without a hassle. I guess I am simply curious to see how long the bottom water reservoir trays hold up! If Burpee pays any attention to these reviews, I hope they take note and make a sturdier bottom tray for an ultimate product. That being said, I think the price point for these trays is fair and reasonable, and maybe a sturdier plastic would increase the price too much. I normally use a soil blocker to make 100s of tiny soil blocks in the spring. Those are really great, but the soil blocking process is strenuous, and these trays feel so easy compared to that. I think I will still use the soil blocker when I make my initial sowings of lots of garden plants in the spring, and these trays will be perfect during the summer for succession sowings.

So I haven’t set them up yet, but how impressive! I’m use to buying the cheap one every year, it’s become a tradition. Bought these to try and they are a very smart design. From the silicon bottom to the handle or the drip system.even labeling the rows, which I normally did with a sharpie. The tray is even made of better quality material. So far I’m super impressed. I will continue to purchase more until my greenhouse is full. Then I can reuse them every year and eventually start saving. I highly recommend it to anyone looking.

Would be great if they didn’t crack
The first one I ordered arrived packaged in a box and was free of damage. The second one I ordered was packaged in a bag and was full of cracks and even some of the silicone cells were coming loose from the top of the cell tray.While the first one arrived damage free, the lip of the tray has started to crack. I’m stillUsing them to start seeds, however I won’t be ordering anymore of this particular one given the damage.I do like that the domes are dark so that is great for germinating. When used with a heat mat, the domes provide a nice warm and humid environment for the seedlings.Hoping I can get some more uses out of these through the season, but just be aware that they seem to break/crack pretty easily.

My favorite seed starting tray.Easy to pop the seedlings out, the slots have a mild air pruning effect, easy to clean to minimize disease.My older tray is on it’s third season and looks barely used and is still sturdy with the only damage coming from user error.
