Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.

Product care

Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

TOTIKA KOHATU MINDFULNESS GAME

CAN YOU STACK THE LAST ROCK?

To win, you will need a steady hand and nerves of steel! The stack remains fairly stable for the first 3-4 rocks stacked. After that, the stack begins to sway ever more so with each additional piece played.

KNOCK OVER THE STACK AND LOSE THE ROUND!

During gameplay, only specific sides of the rocks may be balanced on…the two flat ends when stacking a rock standing upright OR when stacking on it’s side like an egg, only the non-angled flat sides

DON’T GIVE UP, PRACTICE AND STACK EVERY ROCK!

Players focus more and more as most rounds end with someone knocking over the stack. It becomes a group goal to make it to the last rock, a bonding experience and moment of great excitement and respect when someone successfully stacks that last gem.

Mindfulness Deck Sample Questions: What’s something you witnessed recently that reminded you that life is good? How might you be holding on to something that you need to let go of? How often do you let matters that are out of your control stress you out? What might help? What matters most in your life? How come? What good habit do you want to form and how will you get started this week?

Maori words, TOTIKA means “Well-balanced” and KOHATU means “rocks, stones or gems” and together are pronounced “Toe-tee-ka Ko-ha-two”

Stack the last rock and win!

The Maori people have a long tradition of stacking rocks as high as possible near rivers, on beaches and anywhere else there are rocks. When done as a competition, it is called “Tu Kohatu”

PLUNKTIKA – a stick and marble plunk game

Take turns pulling sticks while trying not to plunk the marbles out of the tower, win by having the least marbles at end of round!

Players: 2 to 8

Although it looks simple at first, the difficulty of stacking all 16 rocks, stones and gems becomes apparent and players are gradually mesmerized by the surprising height of the stack, much more mindful of their movement around the table, and tend to answer questions more thoughtfully as the stack grows taller, more precarious and excitement builds.
Players take turns rolling the die and balancing one rock, stone or gem of the rolled color on top of the stack. Knock over the stack and lose a round. Stack the last rock and win. Use question cards every other round. Each time a player successfully stacks, they get to pick a card and ask any other player the question that’s the same color as the stacked rock.
Totika Kohatu wood rocks are irresistible and they are going grab and hold the attention of children, teens and adults. No set up and each round is quick, 3-5 minutes without the question cards and 5-15 minutes when using question cards.
The Totika Mindfulness question deck includes a total of 192 open-ended questions in four categories: Self-Actualization & Paying it Forward; Self-Care; Consientiousness; Empathy for Self & Others. The Mindfulness deck contains sophisticated questions intended for ages 13 to Adult.

    Not what expected
The card prompts are not very therapeutic for a counselor. The cards claim to be pencil write off, but you can see the previous answers. Fun idea.
