Great frame and screen, heavy compared to others, beautiful look
I had 3 digital frames, 2 of which use the Uhale app and 1 uses the Frameo app. I added this one because I like the acrylic surround, it goes with other acrylics in my home office, and I really like the Frameo app. The screen quality is very good, setup is straightforward including connection to your wifi, and adding photos using the app is simple. One of the great features of these frames is adding family/friends so that they can contribute photos. My daughters will occasionally send a photo and it always brightens my day to see a new one displayed. This frame is heavy compared with my others, mainly due to the thick acrylic frame, which is beautiful and really enhances the overall look in my opinion. The date/time/weather feature is nice to have, although I don’t pay as much attention to that as I do the pics. Unlike my other frames, this one has a power off button on the back, along with a USB-A port and the USB-C power input port. It comes with a charging block, charging cable, and a kickstand to support it.Overall, I’m really happy with the look and functionality of this frame. It has a ton of features and works seemlessly with the frameo app. Definitely recommend if you like the acrylic frame look as much as I do.

Picture Perfect, Power Cord Limitations and Subscription Required
The Frameo 10.1 Inch WiFi Acrylic Digital Picture Frame, is a product with notable strengths and minor limitations.Hardware and Design:The physical construction of the frame is commendable. The acrylic enclosure imparts a sense of durability and a modern aesthetic. The weight of the unit suggests a robust build quality. The 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen offers satisfactory color reproduction and a wide viewing angle. The 800×1200 pixel resolution, while adequate, may not satisfy users seeking the highest level of image detail. But we need to remember that this is not a computer monitor, but merely a decorative photo slide. The inclusion of a detachable rear support allows for both portrait and landscape orientation, enhancing its versatility.Software and Functionality:The Frameo software interface exhibits a marked improvement in user-friendliness. The guided setup process is clear and intuitive, facilitating ease of use for individuals with varying levels of technical proficiency. The Frameo application, while requiring a period of familiarization, effectively facilitates the transfer of digital images. The option to utilize a USB-A flash drive for photo transfer offers a convenient alternative to the application, particularly for large volumes of images.Performance and Observations:The device’s ability to automatically orient and resize images is a valuable feature. However, the “Fill frame” setting may result in undesirable image cropping. I recommend disabling this feature to preserve the integrity of the original photograph. The frame’s 32GB of internal storage provides ample space for a substantial collection of images and videos.Limitations:The primary limitation encountered pertains to the length of the included USB-A to USB-C power cable. Depending on the placement of the frame and the location of available power outlets, a longer cable may be required. Furthermore, the Frameo application’s limitations of only allowing 10 photos to be transferred at a time, unless you pay a plus subscription, is a notable inconvenience. Conclusion:Overall, the Frameo 10.1 Inch WiFi Acrylic Digital Picture Frame represents a well-designed and functional product. Its aesthetic appeal, coupled with its user-friendly software and adequate display quality, renders it a suitable option for those seeking a digital photo display. The minor limitations identified do not significantly detract from its overall value. However, potential purchasers should consider the length of the power cable and the application’s transfer limitations (requiring a subscription) prior to acquisition.

Impressive digital photo frame
Everything about this photo frame IMO is impressive. The frame, heavy and imbedded in an acrylic clear block, is stylish with impressive heft. The IPS LCD screen has great color, wide viewing angle, and good resolution (800×1200 pixels, 10.1″ diagonal measurement). The Frameo frame software is greatly improved with an easy-to-use clear user interface that coaches new users through the necessary steps. The Frameo (Android cell phone) app has a user learning curve but effectively transfers digital photos to the digital frame. The included user guide is well organized and clearly written. With careful photo selection (and perhaps some photo editing) this digital photo frame becomes an impressive and valued home decoration or gift. Before assembling the digital frame it’s advisable to load the (no cost) Frameo app onto your Android cell phone; the included user guide references a YouTube video describing the loading process. I’m a desktop PC guy so I took a different route: I loaded the (no cost) Bluestacks Android emulator onto my Windows 11 PC, then loaded the (no cost) Frameo app onto the Bluestacks emulator. The package contains the digital frame, an attachable rear spur that supports the tabletop digital frame in either portrait or landscape orientation, a USB-A power dongle, a USB-A to USB-C power cord, and a user manual. This equipment is contained in a plastic tray inside a sturdy cardboard carton. Assembly is straightforward: attach the rear spur to the digital frame, plug the power cord into the USB power dongle and into the USB-C socket on the frame rear. Plug the AC power dongle into an AC outlet and watch while the digital frame self-initializes. You supply your Wi-Fi network name and password, and answer some multiple choice easy questions. Then click “Add friend” to receive a Frameo connection number to load into the Frameo cell phone app and you’re ready to start loading photos. The Frameo app allows transfer of up to 20 photos at once sharing a common title (e.g., “Christmas 2024 visit to grandparents”). I had many photos to transfer; I used the Frameo app to transfer the first photo (verify proper operation while priming the pump), then I transferred the remaining photos without titling using a USB-A flash drive (not a TIF card) and the frame’s USB-A rear socket. My 1240 photos consumed 0.58 GBytes of the frame’s 32.0 GBytes storage, leaving plenty of available storage for additional photos or videos. The digital frame sits either in portrait or landscape orientation depending on the rear spur attachment. The digital frame automatically orients and reduces larger digital photos to fit the 800×1200 pixel screen. One change I recommend is disabling the “Fill frame” function in the Slideshow settings. Disabling “Fill frame” allows leaving margin blank spaces instead of cutting off photograph sections while over-enlargement fills the margins. The 800×1200 pixel IPS LCD screen has great color and wide viewing angle, making it an attractive presentation and a great gift. My only caveat concerns the USB-A to USB-C 3 foot long detachable power cable. Depending upon where you place the digital frame and your AC outlet location you might need a longer USB-A to USB-C detachable power cable (shrug).
