These fairy lights are perfect!
I have never used fairy lights before because I never had a need for them. But, I bought a set of Christmas gift boxes that will go outside and the lights that came with the boxes didn’t work. The boxes were so pretty I didn’t want to send them back so I decided to use fairy lights. These lights are everything I was hoping for. They are brighter than I thought they would be and with the different settings it was fun trying to figure out which setting I liked better. The remote makes it real easy to switch from one setting to another. There is also a dimmer button if the lights are too bright, which is a plus. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the second set, but I do have an idea. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to display the boxes this year because…well, the season is coming to an end. But I’m excited for next year!

Note Please remove the tab in the remote
After the tab is removed from the remote they work perfect! Exactly as described but make sure to remove the plastic tab. They have lots of settings also included in the booklet that Cole’s with it! I use them outdoors on a tree on the porch just for a bit of flair, they are beautiful. I purchased two and one is enough to cover, its approx 3 feet not including the pot it sits in. Highly recommended

One string worked for 2 days and died
They are pretty. I usually buy the copper wire lights but tried these. One set has died after 2 days. Of course I threw out the box because they both worked on arrival.Update: The seller contacted me and offered a refund for the product. Very responsive seller and honest. I will give these another shot if the first set stays working. Thank you.

Great if you can program the timer
These are great little lights, but the timer is a little complicated. I finally figured it out:Plug the light string in, and ONLY use the manual button on the control box that is part of the cord to turn the lights on and set the mode. Once you have manually turned the lights on and set the mode you like, THEN you can use the timer button on the remote to set the timer. (Be sure to pull the battery tab out on the remote so the battery connects)When you press the timer button on the remote, it starts a countdown: the lights will stay ON, just as they have been manually set, for 6 hours starting whenever you press the timer button. Then the lights will go OFF for 18 hours, and come back on again for 6 hours, etc.So if you want the lights to come on at 5pm every day, you must MANUALLY turn them on and set the mode, and THEN press the timer button at 5pm. This will start the 6 hour on / 18 hours off cycle, and your lights will come at 5pm every day.The remote must be pretty close to the manual control box, no obstacles in between, to keep the timer functioning working. The little coin battery in the remote lasts a long time.I also tried plugging these into a automatic timer, but they simply re-set to mode 1 every time the plug in timer shut them off.

Perfect
I searched long and hard for the perfect ferry lights to light up our ceramic Christmas Villiage. These lights were easy to set up and the timer feature made sure that I didn’t have to bother with turning them off and on every evening. I love that they plugged into the wall so I didn’t have to replace the batteries midseason. I look forward to using them again next year and every other year.
