Good prompts, like taking a lowkey art class
I’m about 1/3 of the way through this book, and I’m enjoying the exercises. Some are more challenging than others, but there is a huge variety of assignments/art prompts, so if I’m not feeling the project on the page for the day, I skip around to one I feel like doing. There are drawing, collage, watercolor, and coloring exercises. I’d suggest getting a nice set of colored pencils to use in this art book.

so much inspiration
I’m not using the book itself to do any of the art prompts. I have another mixed media sketchbook that I’m going to use. The book for me is reference only. The paper is on the thin side, and I’m not sure it would hold up to the sort of media I want to use (primarily watercolors, watercolor pencils, markers, colored pencils, acrylic paints). I just get in a rut – I know I want to do some art, but I get locked up – artist’s block. This is a fantastically inspirational book, so I know I can pick it up and still work on something art related. Very happy.

Beautifully Bound – A GREAT Gift for Any Artist (beginning or needing some extra ideas)
I just got my copy today and was so happy at the quality of the binding. It’s a beautiful book, and I’ve already read the pages leading up to the challenge pages. It says you don’t have to do them in order. I don’t know yet if I will or not, but I expect I’ll probably initial and date each page as I do it. This book would be a great gift for anyone who feels like they need a little extra help in the creativity area.

Good, varied prompts
This is a great little book for people with a creative block. It calls for using various mediums, the topics are quite varied, and the difficulty levels offer a good variety too. You can spend as much or little time on each page as you want, and it’s good for getting you out of your comfort zone.My biggest pet peeve is that the pages are thin. Yes, that keeps it more affordable, but that also means that ink, markers, and other wet mediums can leak through onto the next page. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it is annoying to have an otherwise good doodle marred by what you did on the previous page.I would still recommend this. I don’t plan on making a masterpiece so it’s not a huge deal for me, just a minor annoyance. But it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re picky about that sort of thing.

Great book!
This is a Fun book to have! It’s perfect for the days that you want to be creative but don’t want to have to put too much thought into what you are creating since the book basically tells you what to do. It’s kind of a mix of a doodle/color book with some prompts that require a bit more thought. 🙂

Loved as a gift!
Super cute art book for my aunt for Christmas. She’s pretty artsy and does a lot of crafts etc. this book was amazingly filled with all sorts of things. I looked at it before I gave it to her and it was very cool for someone that likes to draw doodle or try different things. Really nicely composed book.

Great find!
This has been perfect for my creative outlet. It’s convenient and can take me a few minutes or few days if I want. I’ve enjoyed it and it’s so therapeutic.

I’m not the best at drawing, but I still like to do it. This book is great because I can practice and not have to come up with an idea/concept all by myself. I try not to worry too much about messing up or things not looking so great, because I’m learning. It has a lot of variety and different skills to practice, with some repetition. I haven’t been using it everyday or going in order, but I enjoy it!Overall, it’s great for casual drawing/colouring and familiarizing yourself with art. I think it could still be good for those who are already good at drawing, but I can’t say for sure since I am not.
