Easy to use and makes learning fun and easy
I have been using Babbel for almost a month for almost an hour a day consistently. It really does make learning a second language easy and fun. I have used other language learning systems and taken classes in the past but this system is far more superior and within a months time I can understand most of what is being said in Spanish or at least have a clue. Words and phrases really stick with you and you can easily apply them to everyday situations.

Find a different language learning program. This program has too many holes in the learning modules.
1. The program starts out with telling you what words mean then you select the meaning. However, they use undefined words in sentences immediately so you are just guessing at the meaning until you complete your answer. Then in the second, third and fourth lessons they ask you to fill in the blanks for words that you have not been introduced to. This happened once in the second and third lesson then in all of the fourth lessons. HOW could you possibly know what would go in the blank when they haven’t bothered to introduce you to the vocabulary first?2. The program is also not easy to navigate. It should explain how to complete the task they are asking you. I can fill in the blanks but sometimes you hit enter and sometimes you don’t. I want my money back but that is not an option.

6 months of French membership improves language skill
I used this product to learn French and refresh my pre-existing French language skills. I love the ease of setting up my paid membership and starting the program right away. I had zero complaints or issues on the program. It is so natural to use this app and provides several different ways to learn and apply these words and phrases in different settings. Having my pronunciation checked is incredibly helpful as well! I highly recommend it for yourself or for gifting.

Great Product
It’s a very user friendly program and easy to learn new words. I like that I can keep going back until I get the correct pronunciation. I would like to be able to listen on my headsets while I exercise or run and not have to press a button on my phone. Not sure if that is possible but that would be my only suggestion. Other than that I have learned a lot!

Kindle users beware
The top of the ad states: “STUDY ON ANY DEVICE: Practice your language whenever and wherever you want on your phone, tablet, desktop or laptop. Your language learning progress is synchronized across all your devices” It would be nice for Kindle Fire users if this were true. It cannot be used. Customer service rep was not helpful or very sympathetic. Amazon should make this clear in their ad, especially for users of their own product!

Fun and Easy to Use!
Babbel is a very fun why to begin learning a new language. I love that a lot of the review formats are similar to games. I makes it entertaining and easy to use. I got this app because I more recently moved into a predominantly Latinx neighborhood, and I wanted to be able to say hello and have small conversations with my new neighbors. I haven’t gotten too much practice, due to the Coronavirus. But it does give me lots of time to practice my Spanish inside. I can’t wait to put my practice to use. I would recommend this program to anyone!

Unable to select English
It turns out this product is only available for native speakers of a few languages that do not apply to the student of English this was purchased for as a gift. English is not available as display language for learners of English either. The product description is misleading and there is no option to “return” the item via Amazon though the activation code has not been used yet. Very disappointing.

I am obsessed with this! I took Spanish throughout my school years and then stopped once I got to college. After a while I forgot a lot and needed a brush up as my husband and I are moving to an area that has a higher population of Spanish speakers! I love how easy it is to use and how quickly I can finish the lessons
