Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

‘Reclaim the space in your head’
California author Phyllis Ginsberg is a Marriage and Family Therapist and an expert in Positive Psychology, Brain Research, EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) and focuses her creative insights on aiding people to de-stress for happier lives. Of note, Phyllis has been a court expert for high conflict divorce cases. Her books to date are BRAIN MAKEOVER and TIRED AND HUNGRY NO MORE. She is the creator of the Tapped In Community, and has been involved in aiding the American Heart Association, the American Stroke Association, and the American Cancer Society. One of the many reasons this book is so successful is the manner in which Phyllis shares her own background while opening her experiences to ones we can all appreciate. She informs us of her near burnout period as a Child Custody Evaluator and Therapist, how she dealt with that “doing what I was supposed to do’ mentality, took a year off, and figured out how to process emotions and rewire her brain. And that is the impetus for this outstanding book – a guide to ‘brain makeover.’Phyllis is a proponent of EFT tapping – a way to navigate the world of emotions: ‘By tapping on various acupuncture points, stored emotions are released from the body allowing for quick relief form anxiety, fears, phobias, and stress.’ She shares this concept well, including diagrams of tapping points and how to implement them. And that is only one form of guidance Phyllis offers in this weekly guide – a guide that includes warmly related advice (and a lot of informative concepts!) written in an accessible manner and followed with note spaces to jot down personal data to allow going beyond survival thinking to a new realm of happiness and healthy living. For wise and solid information on how to achieve health and happiness, this book is excellent. Highly recommended. Grady Harp, September 19

Awesome book
Brain Makeover: A Weekly Guide to a Happier, Healthier and More Abundant Life Kindle Edition by Phyllis Ginsberg is such a fantastic book. If you are looking for ways to improve your life in a very real way, this book will help you on that path. Ginsburg examines how our lives have changed into lives of worry, rushing around, and not finding any real happiness. She tackles these issues in this guide, and provides concrete actions you can take to turn your life around and find more happiness and abundance. The inclusion of relevant exercises in this guide helps you on your way, and trains you to refocus your thinking. Each week you can read a section that will motivate you and guide you on your way to creating the life you want, one with less stress and more meaning. Insightful and a very helpful book, this is highly recommended.

Self-honesty will be your friend in this book.
How do our thoughts and perceptions influence how we interact with the world around us? Is there any way to improve or even “rethink” how we go through life? Based on research in the positive psychology field, this book will help you overcome common pitfalls we are stuck in, such as the fear of judgement, or losing money, or even simply a fear of living life to its fullest. The author gives us the tools we need if we truly want to retrain our brain. From an assessment, to weekly exercises and reflections, this book should be used as a companion as you work through your fears and start to focus on the happiness you have in your life. The one downside with this type of book is that you will have to be honest with yourself as you go through the assessment and follow the weekly guidelines. Unless you are willing to put in the time you will not achieve anything. This is something that some people will have to remember. Just reading this book will not magically get your brain to be rewired. It was well written and easy to understand and follow along.

A refreshing take on a self-help book
“Brain Makeover” by Phyllis Ginsberg is a refreshing take on a self-help book. This book prides itself on helping give your mind a “brain makeover”. That is, according to the book, “‘Brain Makeover’ will have you thinking differently as you engage with the weekly readings and put them into action. Through fun activities and thought-provoking wisdom, you will naturally experience how the power of your mind influences your life to become happier, healthier, and more abundant!” It’s a creative, practical approach. Rather than just telling you how to change your mindset to enhance positivity, change habits, and so forth, Ginsberg challenges you to actually do it through her activities. I really enjoyed this approach. This book is not a one-and-done type of read. Rather, you’re supposed to go back to it each week, reflect, complete the activity, and engage. This encourages the notion of continuous self-help and learning. It’s really a novel concept in the self-help genre. I appreciate Ginsberg’s approach and see this book helping so many!

Empowering
I have already read this author’s ‘Tired and Hungry no More’ and found it very useful. There are some repetitions in this book but these serve to underscore the overall message and I didn’t mind reading them twice. The author is a Health and Happiness expert and she is preaching that it is possible to choose healthier habits that will ensure a better quality of life by retraining the brainSo many of us live with negativity; often our own inner critic is our worst enemy. As a perfectionist, I completely understand how this can be so destructive. Not only am I driven past normal standards in my quest for the perfect in everyday life, but I also judge others by my lofty standards. I am also a worrier, so I am always bogged down in what might happen scenarios that disturb my sleep and my peace of mind. This book includes practical exercises to complete and ways of evaluating any improvement as it is set out in a 52 week format.

This is not a book. It’s a journal. It’s actually pretty shockingly bad. I returned it within minutes. Avoid at all costs.
