Fun with my Grandchildren
Before I get harassed, I watched them closely, this does involve a hotplate and hot wax, but is was alot of fun for me and my grandchildren. I am always looking for projects with them, and these candles are a great project.The candles smell great, and easy to make, I highly suggest for anyone looking to have a project or just want to learn how to make candles.Kit comes with absolutely everything you need, and is very good quality.

The kit came in a nice box and all was packed nicely, however the lids to the oils where not placed on tightly and thee oils where leaked out everywhere so i didnt have much fragrance in the bottles was a bit disappointed. The rest of the kit was amazing you have everything you need to learn to make a candle. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn.

Complete candle making kit for beginners and experts alike
Awesome quality set for someone trying it out. Everything is included. Hot plate, pitcher, wax, scents, labels, stirrers, containers and lids, wicks the whole 9 yards. You could absolutely gift this set however that’s not my intention. I’m a semi empty nester and need a hobby to occupy my time. Great for beginners and I’m excited to get started and see if this is the hobby for me. I’ve only made one candle so far and I mixed scents so I jacked it up but it looks good just smells terrible. lol I have lots more to tinker with and practice makes perfect, right?

Love the kit and directions! Only issue is one of the oils “Ocean” smelled great but the bottle had leaked during shipping. 😞So had less then a teaspoon to useThe other full kit I purchased the Orange oil leaked. So less then half a bottle was available

Fun, easy candle kit
This is a well-functioning candle set. Each bag of wax makes two candles and takes two of the little heart-shaped dye chunks. There are a nice variety of scents. The miniature electric stove works well too. I suggest melting the wax on a low dial setting, like 1 or 2—I used 4 the first time, and it took a while for the wax to cool enough for me to add the scented oil.

Fortunately, many blogs and so many at-home crafts seem to work synergistically to find things to do. I came across this kit and, while we are not candle fanatics, do light them every so often.• Thoughts:1. Comprehensive Kit: This kit truly has everything you need and lots of it. Multiple bags of wax, wicks, candle jars, 6 different potent fragrances that made the box itself an absolute pleasure to open, etc.2. Price: Comparable products at an arts/crafts or hobbies store are much more expensive with fewer items in the package. VINE REVIEWS – This kit reminded me of my school days when I used to learn making candles.This kit is much advanced than old days moldings as this comes with complete set including electric heater, wax jug, thermometer, color dye, essence oils and dried flowers.They come with special candle boxes which can be presented as gift to someone as well.The wax is individually packed in different bags to maintain the dryness.We tried Lavender, Jasmine and Eucalyptus candles so far and they all smell amazing. These are perfect to use for candle light dinner and such events.Overall, I like this candle making kit.

Having watched our daughter make lovely candles for her home and as gifts, my wife decided that she would like to try her hand at this interesting craft. She always says, “If you’re going to do something, do it right!” and, in this case, she followed her own advice, ordering this comprehensive kit which comes with all the supplies you need to make an impressive amount and variety of candles.If you are not familiar with the basics of candle making, I would highly recommend that you watch the video on the product page for this kit. The process is relatively simple; the largest hurdle that most people face is assembling the myriad of materials required. This kit solves that problem! In particular, having a portable stove top and a pouring pot dedicated to creating candles makes everything a lot easier, eliminating cleanup that can be quite time consuming. The kit provides enough supplies to produce at least eighteen candles; after completing a dozen or so, you will likely have mastered the basics allowing you to experiment (if you wish) with other containers or scented oils.Overall, the quality of the materials included in the kit is very good. There is no question that beeswax is an excellent product to work with and usually yields top notch results. I appreciate that the essential oils are included in the kit along with some dried flowers (you can, of course, experiment with your own). The idea of including tins to make candles in and gift boxes to wrap them in is excellent. It is nice to see that the manufacturer has included items such as a thermometer, a hot pad and a stirring spoon that people often don’t anticipate needing when they are getting set up to make candles.Whether you pursue candle making alone or as a family activity, with everything you need to get started, this kit provides a great gateway into the hobby. The kit is great but the included melting pot is a safety hazard. It should be a handle that is not a closed loop and has wood or thermal plastic on it, it should be further away from the body so you can grab it safely with an oven mitt to pretext yourself from burns.
