Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.

Product care

Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

Rory O’Connell, Ballymaloe Cookery School teacher and author of Master It (winner of the prestigious Andre Simon Food Book Award), is back with his second cookbook, which focuses on seasonal, balanced three-course meals for elegant eating and entertaining. Recipes are divided by season and include Beetroot and Autumn Raspberries with Honey, Mint and Labna; Sashimi of Mackerel with Crisped Radishes and Scallions; Roast Hazelnut Panna Cotta with Chocolate and Caramel Sauce and Duck Leg Curry with Cider Vinegar. Each perfectly balanced meal caters for 4–6 people, and one of the meals is entirely meat-free. In addition, every season includes a menu for entertaining a large group of people – from a summer alfresco lunch to a Christmas feast. Complete meals can be replicated for elegant entertaining, or individual dishes can be tried for simple and pleasing lunches or dinners. An absolute delight of a cookbook offering a very modern way to eat.

True cooking techniques , Seasonal menus
This is a amazing cookbook that is not for the novice cook . It requires some level of experience in the kitchen but is well worth the effort . Seasonal menus with exceptional pairings and way to use ingredients . The author is a genius in the kitchen that has true cooking technique and not just a step by step instruction to producing a dish. If you enjoy fresh seasonal cooking and are have some experience in the kitchen this cookbook will be a true pleasure for you.

    Great cookbook
I love this chef. His recipes are so flavorful. Hope to purchase all of his cookbooks one day. Love his series if videos. Such beautiful results. The use of fresh herbs makes the dishes not only flavorful but beautiful as well.

    Elegant Goumet Recipes
I have only had this book for a couple of weeks. My initial impressions are that it’s a very elegant collection of gourmet recipes for the advanced cook or chief. Book presents recipes for complete meals rather than single dishes. You certainly could just pick one dish without doing them all. Most of the recipes look like they are well above my skill level so all in all it for me it probably wasn’t a particularly good purchase. More advanced cooks will certainly disagree with is assessment.

  4. Border Collie parent

    Well written
Superbe accompaniment to his program. Book on as much of how and why as it is recipes. Love it!

    Read All the Way through
The recipes are beautifully presented with a story about each, or an unusual ingredient. Photos make the food look delicious! be sure to read the instructions all the way through, so you don’t miss an important detail making the recipe taste its best.

Add a conversion chart for the recipes.
I kijed the overall presentation of the book hiwever I returned the book because the recipes were in metric measur r ments and no conversion chart was provided in the book.

  7. JO ANN

    Beautiful cookbook, beautifully illustrated.
Simply written, love his Irish flair!

  8. Kindle Customer

All recipes use metric system only
I should have read the reviews more carefully! Everything is in metric, and no conversion table in the book. Makes it very unhandy and not fun to have to convert the measurements before starting each recipe. Takes some of the enjoyment out of it!

  9. lily benbow

A typical Rory book with perfectly balanced menu ideas. Makes my life easy! I picked up the book at my Mums and just had to buy one for myself!

  10. MARMITE 12

My mother adores Rory and his recipes. She went gaga for this book and has cooked recipes nonstop for the last three days. That’s a major endorsement because she can be extremely difficult to please. Great book. Buy it now.

  12. Bronagh Cannon

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Great book; Rory’s writing style is natural and flowing. You can almost hear his mellow voice kindly explaining how to do everything. Recipes vary from very basic to more creative dishes for entertaining. A great all rounder.
