Sturdy, compact, easy to use, handles heavy woman.
Exactly as described. Easy to use & adjust after reading instructions once. Worked well on steep rugged inclines in rock, sand, gravel. Handles and wristlet were comfortable on 3 hour hike in Colorado. Nice and compact once folded. Fit in my small 18L camelback. They didn’t bow with my 200Lb+ body leaning on them. Buying more as gifts.

Worked GREAT on my hiking adventure
These poles were great while hiking trails along crater rims, waterfalls, and cliff paths. They break down very easily (setup easy too) and the hand grips fit my hands well. I did buy the shorter length (great for people who are short like I am), and I used them every day for some very steep paths and general paths. I loved that they could fit in my carry-on luggage without taking up too much space or adding too much weight. For the price, this was a delightful surprise!

Pretty good
According to Amazon, I’ve had this for a year and a half now. It’s still working for me. Im not a crazy hiker. I hike typically well maintained trails and mostly with good weather. Under those conditions, it works well. It’s super compact and can fit in my small hiking backpack. It’s easy to use in terms of setting up, breaking down, and adjusting the strap. It’s never broken on me while on trail. It seems other people have issues with it’s durability when it gets stuck but that hasn’t happened to me yet. It’s probably not as good as the expensive poles but it works really well for my needs at a good price.

Love these hiking poles!
This is my second purchase. The other pair was accidentally left behind in Spain after completing Camino de Santiago. I walked 870 km with them and used them before in Mount Shasta and other mountains. This time I bought them for hiking on Madeira island. I absolutely love them: small enough to fit in your backpack, easy to assemble, light and durable. Really some amazing gear if you are a hiker like me.I am very happy with my purchase! Thank you!!!

Just what I was looking for!
Very nice poles! I was surprised that they are as nice as they are for the excellent price. I like them better than my previous telescoping poles, as they are much more compact to carry and you can easily set and re-set the length you desire for your current terrain and use.The poles are very easy and quick to deploy, however pushing the button in to retract them again is not quite as easy, especially if your hands are a bit cold. The rest of the retraction process is super easy. And, once folded up, they come with a nice velcro cord strip that keeps them tight and tidy.I really like that the poles come in two separate storage bags, as you may want to carry only one pole on some outings, not two and the bags give you the option to have your pole in a bag on the inside or outside of your pack, which keeps things more organized and neat.I put the various pole tips (very nice tips that came with the poles) in a separate mesh bag (sort of see-through) that I attached directly to the two-bag system because I could see that pulling out the poles could inadvertently pull out a tip at the same time and you may not notice, especially if it fell down into snow. Therefore, having the tips in a separate small bag made a lot of sense to me. It would also enable me to take quick inventory of my tips to make sure everything was in place when changing them out. I have worked on search and rescue for 19 years now, and over the years, I have become very aware of how to manage and put systems in place so gear is not ever lost. I want to spend my time and dollars upgrading gear, not replacing it.I cannot attest to how rugged these tips are as I have not yet put them through the test of time and use, however they feel quite substantial and durable, not soft or easily dented. The grips are very comfortable and the wrist straps are easily adjusted. I like the material the wrist straps a made from as well. I have not taken these poles through the heat of summer yet, so I cannot speak to the grip in hot weather, but they are super comfortable in winter, as the material does not get super cold and has just the right degree of soft to prevent fatigue and firmness to give stability of use.I guess the only thing about these poles is the branding. They have not one, but two logos on the poles. I would prefer less labeling and more solid blue color, which would make the poles more pleasing to the eye. While aesthetics are not important to the function, as an artist, I guess I cannot help myself.

I Didn’t Know I Wanted or Needed Them Until I Started Using Them…
We take a lot of trips that involve moderate walking, stair-climbing, and hiking and these were terrific to have. On our last trip which was to the Galapagos Islands & Macchu Pichu, I used these on almost every excursion we took – and we took a lot. I’m a solid 210# and these poles had no trouble with my weight. The included tips came in handy in Macchu Pichu because plain metal tipped poles were forbidden. I like that the pair comes in two bags instead of one… much easier to pack and unpack and if you only want to take one pole you can very easily. Lastly the adjustable height and rubber grips were perfectly suited for climbing and descending uneven terrain and large stone steps. All in all I’d say that for the $$$ spent, these were an excellent buy for people who do occasional light to moderate hiking.

Well Constructed
I have foot and mobility issues and purchased these for an upcoming trip to Alaska. Both poles come with storage bags and different attachments for the bottoms for different types of terrain. Poles are lightweight and fold down to about a foot long. Very easy to expand as nd break down. Can be adjusted to any size that fits your height. Very sturdy really helpful with balance when walking on uneven terrain.
