More Than You Expect
This is a great gift, and we had fun making the sauces. It includes ingredients and recipes for several different kinds of sauces, and you will be able to make at least two varieties with what is included. Before you begin, take time read through the recipes, and the instructions to make sure you know exactly what order you’re going to do things in. After that it was relatively simple and enjoyable. The only comment I would have is that the quantity the recipe estimates you will yield, is less than what we actually got. They definitely underpromise and overdeliver. We ended up adding additional vinegar to our finished products, and ending up with at least double the amount of product we expected. The best part about this is that once you understand how to make the sauces, you can easily get your own supplies, or grow your own supplies, and tinker around with all sorts of great combinations.

Good, but not great.
Great product. Goooooood flavored sauces. Easy to use and follow the follow the directions. It does not include ALL the ingredients at it says. The missing items are not a big deal, but the packaging is misleading.The recipe makes more than the 2 bottles can hold, so you’ll need another container. Again, not a big deal. But I would suggest having a third vessel ready for the finished product. The directions are good, but not great. Make sure the user has some minor cooking skills because the directions do leave a little to be desired.This is a cute gift and I would recommend it for someone.

Great kit
Bought it for a hot sauce lover and it was perfect. The peppers were so hot you could smell them through the plastic. It’s easy to create sauces using various ingredients and to try them on different foods. Would purchase again.

Hot Sauce Kit Review – (Unboxing Video)
I was super excited to get this hot sauce making kit and give it a try. As a big fan of hot sauce I’ve always wanted to try making my own but I wasn’t quite sure how to do it. I didn’t want to waste time driving around to a bunch of locations hunting for ingredients and supplies and instructions. Luckily there’s prime and everything came right to my door in a nice compact box.The hot sauce kit box is very stylish and well organized. The chili varieties smell fantastic. It’s not intimidating at all and it almost seems too easy to make the hot sauce. It comes with everything needed including some nice touches like gloves and pH strips. Not to mention the attention to detail and quality. The fact that raw apple cider vinegar is included over a lower quality alternative shows quality ingredients are a top priority. This would make a fantastic gift for any chili head or quite honestly, anyone who likes to cook.

There were no recipe cards or recipe book, as promised in the two descriptions shown. There were only four basic recipes in a leaflet. I complained to the manufacturers and they sent me a pdf which contained little more than the few basic recipes that were in the instruction leaflet in the kit, except that, although the recipes had the same names, the quantities of the ingredients are thoroughly different, which is very confusing. What’s the point of having recipes at all if we don’t know which ones to follow? This kit was a birthday present to my autistic son, who loves chilli sauces and relishes, but, due to his handicap, needs to have things straight – not in a muddle like this. There were no testing strips, which were also supposed to be included. For some reason, this kit, according to your description, seems to be made purely with men in mind, but my son’s hands are certainly not large for a man and he can hardly get the the plastic gloves on, they were so small. Altogether, I find this kit very disappointing.

Bought this as a gift for someone and they loved it. I was really impressed in how this came in. Out of the amazon box and straight into the gift bag. Great presentation. Great instructions. Great quality ingredients. Loved the recipe card. I will be honest, I didn’t try this myself but the person who I gifted this, LOVED IT!!!! I cried just smelling it but the smile on their face said it all. Definitely a great DIY kit.
