Love it, super bright works great!
My favorite feature is actually that it can run on two batteries, or 4!So convenient! It’s a perfect size to grab and go, great to store away at home, in camping gear, etc.It works really well! Super bright, I’m impressed.Although it’s plastic it feels really sturdy!I like the traditional lantern look, it’s versatility, and it’s honestly worth the price.I’ll have this for a long time!I recommend!

Not blinding, great for emergency prepping
These little lights are perfect for emergencies, just make sure you have some batteries stored with them. I like that you can put only 2 batteries in, or four, and there is a raised diagram in the battery compartment indicating how to put them in if you’re only using 2. The light is not blinding, but diffused nicely through the white plastic. They are super lightweight and would be great to use in a backpack for camping. No need to have a charger, just keeps some batteries handy. They are sturdy and because of the shape won’t topple over. I put them in a container that I store where I have to go during tornados, so I’ll have light readily available. The button is easy to use to turn it on and off. I’m definitely going to buy more and put one in the car in case of emergency. Their compact size makes them easy to add to any bugout or emergency bag.

Bright and easy to carry lanters
Two pack of battery operated lanterns. Light weight. Bright. Great for around the house during power outage. Many uses such as evening or early morning walks (trick or treating) , leave in car for emergencies, camping and hiking, outside and inside uses. Portable. Safer option to using candles.

lightweight, nice soft white light – average durability – 2 or 4 AA but same light output?
FIRST i never write reviews – maybe just a couple over decades, but the frustration with simple easy to fix things like providing INFORMATION on features or stopping the super cheap plastic tab battery covers just never being designed better felt like speaking my mind a bit. Us being in hurricane area we have lots of lights for power outages – the most recent ones we have been using are the pop up LED type lantern all over amazon uses 3AA good light, screw on bottoms (so seem could take a drop ok) but very harsh LED bare light which i find hard on the eyes especially in long use, so ordered these Eveready ones due to the soft white “glass” and yes the light is nice and soft white and in a closed of pitch black room the light output seems identical to the pop up LED using 3 AA batteries. Confusingly these can use 2 or 4 AA batteries but NO EXPLANATION of the difference and the light output using 2 and 4 is identical?!? i even put 2 in one and 4 in the other and its the same side by side? maybe 4 lasts longer? no idea – no info given. when purchasing i had thought maybe 2AA was low light, 4AA was brighter light and maybe the push button on switch would cycle between OFF, LOW, HIGH but nope its just on or off. it’s a light weight lantern easy handles for big or small hands, and the light is soft so i will use these around the areas where they will stay on a long time and less eye strain from the soft light. the bad – the bottom where you put the batteries is the very old style square with two small tabs on one side and the little plastic bent over tab that after so many pushes in the plastic always fatigues and breaks off then you have to duct tape the battery cover on (bad) or it looks like even with a very small drop the tabs or the plastic push tab will break off and then you have NO battery cover (worse) so that’s a bummer as i can see these getting banged around or dropped if used by smaller kids and without a battery cover they kinda become near useless to me. the pop up style lanterns have a screw on bottom cover that while not expedition ready seems should handle bumps and drops better and not break off leaving batteries exposed or falling out etc… overall i love the soft light and smooth handles so that’s a plus but the battery cover is below expectations a negative – the 2AA or 4AA feature, well i have no idea what the point is but the light output is the same so i guess we will just use them with 2AA unless there is info on the difference. i’d give 3.5 Stars but it is basically 3 or 4 depending on how you view the pros and cons.

Perfect Little Lanterns
We’ve had some storms that knocked out power lately so I wanted something stronger than a flashlight & less clunky than an old lantern I had. These are perfect. They are lightweight and give off plenty of light. So happy with my purchase

Okay light! Not very bright or durable!
This is an okay average light. it isn’t very bright and it doesn’t seem very durable. I’d be afraid to drop it. I’m pretty sure it would break. The price was right but it is a cheaply made plastic light that looks and feels so, too. Sorry, but wouldn’t recommend it unless there was nothing else around.

I am very pleased with this lantern. The long life ( 100 hours on 4 AA batteries) was the main reason I ordered it.I have other emergency LED lights but they don’t last as longThe light is very strong / bright but diffused so even close to your face it’s not a problem. The 360 degree light is also very useful for illuminating a room. The handle is well handy !The broad base makes it very stable if put on a surface. It’s hard plastic and may be an issue if dropped on a hard surface like concrete or tiles but within my home this is not concerning me.The light does get dimmer after a number of hours of use but still very strong. This I find happens with all LED battery powered lamps. It will operate on just 2 batteries. It has a capacity for 4 which means it can last longer but it’s good that 2 is enough. It’s just one setting. No strobe/SOS/red light setting. That’s fine. I like that it’s simple. I have other lamps that have those options if needed.I wanted a lot of light and this delivers. So pleased I bought 2 more. I paid $15 for each and notice the price has gone up now. It’s plastic with LED bulbs. It should not cost a lot. Way over priced now but hopefully the price gets reduced

Funciona bien, usa 4 pilas AA y la iluminación es aceptable para una emergencia. Se ve resistente pero el paquete de este vendedor dice 2 y solo llegó 1.
