Loved, got one for a friend
The winters are long where i live, so i got this for the cold nights when i feel like a bump on a log. It’s no impact, easy on the knees, and good for ensuring i don’t become too lazy or complacent when it’s too cold to leave the house. I like to use it when i watch tv (and go backwards during commercials). I have used it for my arms, too, when my shoulders feel less mobile or like they need to pop.The build quality seems sturdy enough for my friend and me (we each use one so we can enjoy using them together). In 135 lbs and she is maybe 165. It doesn’t slide around much for me because i watch my posture and use the mat on top of a yoga mat if I’m on a slippery surface.The center does get hot but I’ve never burned myself on it because the parts you’re likely to touch are covered with padding.According to my smart watch and the little rotation counter on the bike, i burn around 100 calories fir 20 minute sessions. My heart rate is in my low intensity range during warm up and cool down, and then in my weight control range when i pedal at a fairly brisk pace. I never overdo it because i dont use this for cardio so i dont pedal consistently at my fastest pace, and usually only do it for 20-30 mins. Sometimes i get a more intensive workout when i lift light dumbells. That does take me to my aerobic heart rate range.This thing stows away small! I could easily take it places with me if i wanted to.it is very convenient, and i do feel like it helps me keep exercise mome tum and isnt just for elderly people or for those who are recovering. The resistance is by no means imlressive, but since you could easily do this for a while, even when youre feeling wicked lazy, i think it could be useful and a great value for anyone.

Impressed with Quality and Design
I purchased this for my 91 year-old dad who lives in assisted living. He has neuropathy in his legs which makes him very unsteady on his feet and after seeing several specialists there really isn’t anything they can do to cure it. He’s a big guy (not overweight, just a big guy) and he’s had a couple of falls. That combined with congestive heart failure and extremely limited vision he’s not getting up and walking around much anymore. This concerns me and I wanted to get him something he could do in his room but I knew even a small treadmill or exercise bike could be very dangerous for him. I wanted something that would be safe for him to get some sort of movement in his legs and this seemed like a great option. I was particularly drawn to this due to the size and because it’s not motorized. You actually have to pedal this, which uses your muscles and there is an option to adjust the tension as well. I placed the order and the portable peddler was delivered next day, was well packaged and in perfect condition. I was very impressed with the quality (especially for the price) and how easy it was to get it set up for use. I surprised him with it and he was really excited to try it out. The size is perfect for his room, we found a perfect spot out of the way but where he can easily slide it in in front of his chair so he can pedal while he listens to tv and slide it back when he’s done. Even the physical therapist that comes to see him was impressed with this small peddler and agrees this is great for his circulation. My dad often comments on how much he enjoys using this so that is win in my book! I highly recommend this mini portable peddler as a useful tool for for anyone with balance issues. It’s also great for anyone that wants something that takes up very little space that can be done while watching tv or listening to music. Plus, it can also be set it on a table and used for your arms as well.

A little too tall but effective and convenient
No assembly required out of the box, save for the tension/resistance knob, and it stores easily. However, if you are right up under your desk, your knees will hit the bottom, so you have to scoot your chair back. Great for working at home if you can put it next to your desk or have time to scoot back and not have to type constantly.

Nice and light for both legs and arm,shoulder workouts
So far I really like this product. I needed something light weight to pedal. easy to slip my feet into them. Also to set on a table to exercise my arms and shoulders. I like the design. I was looking for something with good value just to try out. But, I don’t think I need to look any further. This one works perfect for my needs. It was easy to assemble, and the strength is great. So far my work outs are going quite well.

This item is just the right size to give your legs exercise while sitting watching TV However when you’re peddling the item does not stay stationary it moves away from you with each peddling Even the mat that comes with it doesn’t keep it in place Because of this inconvenience I don’t use it as often as I should for exercise with my two knee replacements

I have ADHD and wanted to get a set of pedals like this so that I could focus at my work at my desk instead of pacing. The pedals have the right amount of resistance for me where they’re comfortable to pedal with but not super tiring.

I liked that is was small and compact and could be tucked away easily.I didn’t like that it slides, even on the matt that was provided and I have carpet under the matt as well.Oh well.
