The Gita is set in a narrative framework of a dialogue between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide and charioteer Lord Krishna. Facing the duty as a warrior to fight the Dharma Yudhha or righteous war between Pandavas and Kauravas, Arjuna is counselled by Lord Krishna to “fulfill his Kshatriya (warrior) duty as a warrior and establish Dharma.”[2] Inserted[2] in this appeal to kshatriya dharma (chivalry)[3] is “a dialogue … between diverging attitudes concerning methods toward the attainment of liberation (moksha)”.[4] The Bhagavad Gita was exposed to the world through Sanjaya, who senses and cognises all the events of the battlefield.[5] Sanjaya is Dhritarashtra’s advisor and also his charioteer.

This item is not a hardcover book!!! And, if you want to talk to someone from Amazon, FORGET IT!! I guess once they have your money all help is done.

As described, this is probably one of the best versions of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita.The book offers Sanskrit + Explanation in English and Hindi.Initially, I was unsure as to why was the seller is offering it at such affordable price.The seller is actually doing charity work by selling it at such highly affordable price.Everyone, not just Hindus, but everyone should have a copy of this. Read one chapter each day.

I haven’t read shrimad bhagawadgita ever. This is Perfect for someone like me who want to start. Plus Sanskrit text is translated into hindi & english. Easy to read and understand.

I wouldn’t recommend this seller . No doubt this book is good but one shouldn’t trust this seller. I ordered hard cover but I received paper back and it wasn’t in the good condition as well.
