Best light for nighttime knitting and reading
I bought two of these — one for me and one for my knitting buddy so we could sit outside in the evenings and knit. It is more comfortable around my neck than I anticipated and I really like the 3 light levels. There is also the ability to change the color of light, but I just keep it on white. Battery lasts a really long time and there are no batteries to change out, just rechargeable ones to recharge which I really like. It has help up really well getting tossed around in backpacks and knitting bags, and even my dog carrying it around the house then dropping it down the stairs. the arms are adjustable so you can really focus the light where you need it. Definitely a good value.

Flexible, Reliable, and a Generous Offering of Modes
I have to come really love this reading light. I’ve tried other competing products and have always ultimately been disappointed in the longevity of the battery, the quality of the product, or the number of modes available. This product addresses all of these concerns. It was designed right the first time without the typical compromises. It is lightweight around my neck without making me tire, the battery lasts a long time, there are multiple colors for the light, multiple brightness settings for the light (for varying light conditions), it’s a fun color (making it visible and easy to locate), charges easily, and is flexible enough to make for unique use. I can’t imagine reading without this now, and am unsure how I managed to compromise for so long before buying this.This product comes with a charging cable and the use in this regard is standard and what you’d expect.The material is non abrasive and does not irritate my sensitive skin – even when worn for extended periods of time.

I bought one for myself for reading in the dark room. It fits perfectly around my neck. The side arms are flexible and at the ends the 2 lights has 3 different color and brightness options. Easy to adjust to light to the book In front of me. Easy to recharge with the cable and works for a long time.Perfect gift for book readers. Useable not only highly reading but any work that needs extra light close to your eyes. I bought the gray, it has a natural look. Good material.

I like to knit, sometimes late into the night after my husband and son have gone to sleep. Even with a freestanding lamp nearby, it’s sometimes hard to see the stitches on my needles. I’d seen a much more expensive brand of light, on a knitting website. When I saw that same product on Amazon, there were a lot of reviews of it being a cheap knockoff (for a lot more money) than the Glocusent. I’ve never used the timer–and you don’t need to if you don’t want to! The light has 3 different intensities: a medium & high setting of a cool (blue) light, and a strong yellow/golden light too. The blue light is actually better for seeing my knitting, and I use the yellow light for reading a book. The only “quibble” I might have with this is that the USB charger (cord) is far too short/little. Other than that, the light is encased in a very lightweight plastic housing that doesn’t feel heavy around my neck, and it has a “bendy” material on either side of the plastic that hugs your neck, to fold the light to make it more compact. Overall this is a great product at a terrific price, especially if you buy it during one of Amazon’s sales or “lightning deals.” Highly recommended.
