This has been great for my African violets. They have never done much but this light has turned them around and now I have beautiful growing violets. It can be put anywhere so plants can go in new low light spots.

Simple but serves its purpose well
I have a 75 gallon aquarium and have some house plants growing out of the top. My actual aquarium light is not tall enough to give my plants the light they need, and as I have a 75 gallon with a thick rim around the top many other lights just don’t have wide enough clamps to fit over it. This light however clips on perfect, matches the color of my aquarium light well enough to not clash, and has a timer that’s easy to set should I need to change how many hours the light is on. My Fittonia has never looked better. I will more than likely be ordering another for the opposite side of the tank when I add more plants in the future!

Stopped working, plants are dead. — updated review below–
I bought light in August of 2024. It stopped working over the Christmas holidays while I was away. I came home to dead plants. I am very disappointed. Spend the extra money and get something that will work. Of course, it is now too late to return.**UPDATE 2/10/25**The seller read my original post and contacted me. They sent me a new lamp for free that is working. This was great customer service. For this, I have updated my rating from 1 stars to 4 stars. I really appreciate them reaching out to make things right.

Using for African Violets
I waited a while to write this review, but this is an excellent grow light. I love the timer – easy to set up. I am mostly using this for my African Violets, but my nearby orchids seem to be benefitting, too. It really has helped this winter with the shorter daylight hours.

Great light
I bought this because my light was not giving my indoor plants enough sunlight and caused a lot of leaning. Since switching to this light, my plant is thriving. I have it set on the automatic timer, and it works great everyday and I do not have to worry about turning it on/off. The controls are a little basic, but once you play around with it it makes sense. I feel like the brightness it just right for my plants

Stopped functioning properly after 10 months of use.
Purchased this product in March 2024. Have found that the grow light aspect of the product has worked well this entire time. The plant that this lamp was set over responded positively to the grow light and experienced an obvious trend of growth since day one of installation. Due to this positive response, I originally gave this product 5 stars. However, 10 months in of using this grow light and now the on/off/timer/brightness switch is no longer operating as it should. The timer & brightness aspect of the switch no longer functions. The on/off aspect only works half the time. Sometimes it’s necessary to unplug and then replug the light back into a power source just to get it to turn on. As a result, I have changed my rating of this product from 5 stars down to 1 star. I cannot recommend a product that doesn’t seem designed to last.
