some of the herb has already started spouting after a week of planting
Arrived on time and well packaged. The only issue is that there wasn’t enough soil to plant them so I had to get more soil

Does not grow….disappointing
Bought in March, the return window closed on the 28th of April. Was very excited, however, the soil product that comes compressed in the kit is only enough for 4 of the 10 containers. For a person who had no extra soil, it would be utterly annoying to go to the store to buy more soil to fill the other 6 pots. I followed the instructions to a T even read the little kit’s seed information to make sure I was soaking the correct seeds for the right amount of time, misting the seeds as necessary. I used the entire little seed packets that came with the kit and still had no luck with most of the seeds. I bought a grow light and kept the temperature right. It has been way beyond the time period the seeds would need to sprout so I can confidently state: this was a disaster and a waste of money.Purchase other kits/seeds separately….wish I did. Edit: After writing this review the company did contact me and offered to either replace or refund. I opted for a refund. I thought that was great customer service!

Such a great way to start growing your own plants!
I do not have a green thumb at all. But I recently moved and wanted to add some life in my new place. This kit is great, if you do not know anything about growing because it has all of the instructions inside. Also, it comes with quite a few herbs to choose from. You can grow them right on your counter top. Each herb comes with a lot of seeds so don’t worry if you fail at first. You can always try again! The soil discs are really cool. Just add the amount of water stated and voila! You have soil! I definitely ordered more of the soil disc so I can continue to grow. I was so proud to see my herbs starting to grow above the soil a few weeks ago! This would also be a perfect gift!

Soil Block Concerns
I was so excited to get this set and I still am I just have a couple of issues with the soil blocks. I didn’t not put all of the seeds into each container and I am glad because the soil blocks keep growing a mold like fuzz on the top of it. I bottom water and make sure they have plenty of airflow and sun but the soil does still have that fuzz on the top. Im excited to grow some new windowsill plants while my outdoor herb garden is growing but I am a bit concerned about the soil. I have attached photos of some of the different little containers with what I am speaking about.I thought I was supposed to receive a mint plant but there was no mint seeds.

Awesome gift for Gardner friends!
Got this as a gift for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it. I’m gonna get a separate LED Grow light to put above them and help with growth but this set up has everything you need.

At least you get decent pots out of it
After a month, got a whopping 10% germination rate. Followed all directions. I did some 2 year old seeds from my stock pile under same conditions and they did just fine. Also did not come with nearly enough coconut coir, thankfully I had more lying around. I will say though that the little pots are nice and I’ll definitely be reusing them!
