These pots are very nice. I’m going to put a variety of different plants like succulents and herbs on my shelves in my patio and I like that they each have a coaster. It keeps everything nice and neat.

Surprisingly good
I am a snob- will spend top dollar on handmade pots and look snootily at plastic. I ordered these to put inside a couple of larger pots without drainage holes. The outer pots are odd shaped ones from Crate and Barrel so I ordered these because they looked like I’d have a chance. Normal nursery pots were either too big or small. I was surprised that these worked perfectly. My surprise continued the more I handled them. They are actually good looking! Plain, smooth, egg shell, and almost seem ceramic. The feel, thanks to the hardness of the plastic, is deceiving too. My repotted plants that were outgrowing its inner pot seems very happy in there. The value is very good. I won’t hesitate to reorder for inside pots at this price, knowing they can double as solo pots when my plants reach a particular size and need a slightly bigger pot than my ceramics can offer. The drainage area is great. I ordered an assortment of sizes from this company for some other plants too. A couple of my ceramics are cracking. I won’t mind at all repotting in these. Kudos to HomeNote.

Not good for painting
I bought these pots for a preschool project where we painted on them before planting. Unfortunately, the paint flaked off completely after use, so I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re looking to decorate them. We used acrylic paint, but it didn’t stick well. However, the pots themselves are great! They have drainage holes and come with trays to catch excess water, fitting nicely together. The pots are thick and sturdy, so I don’t worry about them breaking. They stack neatly for easy storage, and the white color looks good in any setting. They haven’t faded even after sitting in the window.

My daughter is an elementary school teacher and I try to provide plants her students can give to their moms/caregivers for Mother’s Day. These planters with saucers are perfect for the tradescantia or spider plants I propagate for this purpose. I used these for a project where we painted them with chalkboard paint. At first, the paint just peeled right off but I figured out that if you paint with acrylic paint first, it holds the chalk board paint MUCH better. They turned out great. Great product at a good price.
