Works like a charm!
I actually put this up in hopes I could sit outside while it was raining, as I live in the PNW and rain is more frequent than sun. It did work great in the sun too, but today we’re having a good rain and it works a treat! I’m out here working and it’s completely dry underneath.I did get hardware to attach and ended up having to use the cord temporarily, because I wanted to attach the shade underneath the eaves to make sure no water got through, and once I did that it was a little too far from the rail to attach with the hooks. but I plan on getting chain eventually (and adjusting the bracket location to make the shade a little more taut).Worth noting that I do have it at a pretty deep angle since it’s going directly from roof line to railing, so there’s no way for water to pool.
