Has stood up well through many storms. Great for shading pets who love the sun..
We needed a shaded area for our dogs to move to after sunning themselves on the deck. 10-15 minutes is their limit when it’s hot and humid. This was the simplest remedy to a cooler area and no hot paws when they let us know they are done with their sun time and want to come back inside to the AC..It also helps shield the screened porch from midday sunChose the sand color 8×10 and the reflected light brightens the room inside coming through the windows.A simple install and has stood up fine to many heavy thunder storms with winds. Particularly like the mesh material that dries out fast yet still blocks the sun’s rays as good as is claimed.We also used the Love Story hardware kit. The components are heavy duty compared to some others.Feel very confident with this holding it on. Although everything supplied with the shade and install kit was more than adequate, our install span required longer ropes. We used 200 lb paracord on 2 corners.When we need to replace this shade sail (or add another) one day, we’ll order the same. Great quality at a fair price.Very pleased. Thanks for reading.

Almost 2 years old – in high winds and sun – looks new!
Purchased this thinking that – for the price- I would use this 1 season. It lasted thru two Pacific Northwest windy spring, summers, and fall! (I stored it away in the harsh winter time) Turns out this triangle shade was a SUPER VALUE! I just moved to California and brought it with us. And the hardware- which looked fairly small – held up well in 20-40 mph winds of the Columbia River Gorge! Really surprised by this one – great value, even at twice the price. Congratulations on making a quality product!

I originally bought this to provide extra shade in my chicken yard but after a blue heron attacked my fish pond, it became a deterrent over the pond. So far it has held up very well under all weather conditions.

Good value
Worked out great. This is after 2 seasons. You need to buy thr ss turnbuckle kit that’s like 15 bucks to install correctly and keep it tensioned and a couple feet of stainless chain. I take down and store over the winter and it had held up great after 2 full summers. I just ordered another one. If you keep it tensioned it does fine in storms they only spread if it gets loose and can whip in the wind. You can’t beat the price

Shade yes, beating sun no…
I was hoping these were going to be better than the plastic tarps I’ve been using. Unfortunately, although I’m standing in shade I can feel the sun frying me. It’s not man it’s hot out but more like magnifying glass pointed at me. Go under the tarp yeah the air is hot but I don’t feel the sun burning me. These shades do breath which is great to let the hot air rise out but doesn’t seem to do much for taking the sting out of the sun beam. The tarps work for blocking that but unless you use a fan holds the hot air in the area. I’m sure these are great, just not for my application. They do look nice as well.

It definitely works, there is a noticeable difference in heat (cooler) standing under it and it doesn’t cast a dark shadow which is good. My only mistake with this was thinking it would be bigger than it actually is, not that the dimensions of it are wrong but my image of it’s size was. It’s great for a person, even 2 but not really more than that. Would purchase again but in a much larger size.

Product was exactly as described. We just had a massive rain storm and I left it up while I watched to see what would happen. Works well in heavy rain and moderate wind (I’ve only had it a few days) I thought the blue would be more navy (my error now that I look again) so I do not recommend the blue as it looks like we cut a blue tarp from a box store in 1/2. I would buy again but in a different colour.The only thing I would recommend is to buy other hardware to install it. The rope provided is great for getting an idea about where it will attach in order to then go and buy appropriate hardware to hang.

I’m not usually one to brag, but I think I might be a genius. Why, you ask? Because I bought the Right Triangle Sand Sun Shade Sail Canopy for my Airbnb instead of splurging on a verandah.
