Excellent Yoga Mat Carrier with a Little Brain Power
Like other Manduka products, they make amazing high-quality products… with limited good instructions on how to best utilize it.If you use this commuter yoga strap like it shows in the product pictures, you’ll be okay-ish. Your mat won’t slip while you’re carrying it and the added cushioning on the middle portion is nice on the shoulders. But if you’re like me, you’ll probably be annoyed that leaving the mat flat in its carrier in the car or for several days will slowly loosen and unfurl (very annoying).Well! There’s actually a better way to use it that prevents this! After playing with the straps a bit, I realized you can double loop it to prevent this problem. If you look at the photo I uploaded, that’s my mat in the car in its carrier (the one on the left is my extra yoga mat in a velco carrier). Notice how it’s tight enough that the strap is biting into the mat itself. This is the ideal way to use this carrier.Now, how do you do this? Ok, so you might have to play with it a little to figure it out, but the first loop is for the buckle to bite onto itself, not for the mat to go through. If you feed the other end of the strap through that first loop, you create a second loop for the mat to go into. Tightening this causes the first loop to bite onto the strap holding it tight while you adjust the second loop down to secure your mat. Viola!You can play with how you feed the strap through to create this biting action, but it seems to work a lot better after I figured this out. Hope this helps!

So I bought this because it had next day delivery, only realizing after that it’s a yoga mat holder, not a yoga mat. Don’t make a same mistake as me! 5 stars still because returning it was easy.

The best
This extra long mat was bought for my 6’1″ son. He’s very pleased with it. I own the regular length mat for 5 plus years and use it a few times a week. I’m very happy with it. It is heavier than most mats but it also gives more cushioning for my joints

I bought because I wanted a really good mat since I do yoga 6 days a week. My yoga studio owner/instructor recommended and she ended up buying the same one. It was very slick until I spread sea salt on, left for 24 hours then scrubbed off as recommended by the manufacturer.That helped A LOT. I am still having a little slippage but hope that resolves as I break in. I might even do salt procedure again. I think I will really like it in the long term. I bought the strap to carry and I don’t have any problems with weight since I only carry from my car into studio. I gave 4 stars since I had to do salt scrub on it, would be nice if done by manufacturer.

Really nice due to the hardware
This is a really nice carrying strap. The hardware keeps the strap from changing length while in use. The part that goes over your shoulder has a cushy piece for comfort.

This matt is not lightweight but it is just right for the thickness and high quality of this yoga matt. I would not buy another brand. It is the best yoga matt I have ever had. It is durable and comfortable, and perfect.

It took a bit to figure it out. I went to the Manduka site and watched the video, so simple, easy and quiet. This is a sweet improvement.

Bought it to use as my snowboard carrier. All the other snowboard straps seems bulky, uses Velcro or buckles. I found this yoga mat carrier instead. This strap is light, fits in my jacket pocket, and material feels sturdy. Haven’t actually used it yet but I’m sure it’ll work awesome. I wish the strap is slightly longer, but it’s exactly as described, and exactly what I had expected. My snowboard is 140cm just in case there’s anyone else that wants to use it for snowboard haha

Comme d’autres personnes, je me suis trompé en pensant acheter un tapis de yoga et une sangle.Mais il ne s’agit en fait que d’une sangle permettant de transporter un tapis de yoga.Je vais me renseigner auprès d’Amazon afin d’essayer de renvoyer le produit et me faire rembourser.
