Customers say
Customers find the stepping stone kit produces gorgeous results and is very straightforward to use, making it a great project for children. The functionality works beautifully, and customers appreciate the large size that can accommodate three child handprints. However, the color options receive mixed feedback, with several customers noting that the colors don’t match the advertised ones, and the lettering quality is also mixed.

Easier than I expected.
My parents asked for these for Christmas, and they turned out great. I was leery to do them thinking they’d be difficult, overly messy, or tricky for my kiddos, but they weren’t too bad. My almost 2yo helped with the closest stone in the picture, and my 7yo enjoyed doing her own. The letters provided are very scrolly, but worked fine. The directions say you might want to add a tiny extra water, but I found the regular amount was more than enough. My nephew didn’t push his pebbles in far enough and they fell out, so make sure you push each item in until it’s level with the surface. You just need a bucket to mix the concrete in, and maybe a tarp to work on.Fun item that I might buy more of.

So easy!
I made a memorial stone for my mom’s and grandma’s ashes and it turned out wonderful! Easier than I’d expected. Tip: if the letters start to fill in with water on the edges when you stamp them, smooth it over again and just lay a paper towel on top. Has to be pretty solid for letters to hold their shape. I’d like to see more color stones, but other than that, it’s awesome. Seal it if you’re going to place it in weather.

Glass pieces are a disappointment!
The paver was easy and fun to make. Great directions, easy to follow. The plastic mold they sent was cracked. The glass pieces were very disappointing! They did not look gem like, like they did in the advertisement/cover of the box. They were just very plain colored glass. They were not the same colors at all either, just random red, yellow, orange, and blue. The paver turned out good but it would have been much prettier/nicer with prettier gem-like colored glass with prettier colors.

Patience is required but worth it! Buy varnish to protect it outside
Bought as a housewarming gift for my sister’s family. Took it with me to let my niece make while I was visiting. The process was super simple. If you follow the directions included, it was very straight forward. We kept it in the box it came in with some paper underneath… no mess! You do have to let it set up different lengths for the following stages: glass tiles and gems, handprints, letter stamping. As long as you’re patient, it turns out great. Had lots of leftover glass pieces. Not a big fan of the font on the letters, but it gets the point across. You can see the difference in the wet vs dry versions in my pics. Make sure to buy some exterior varnish to coat it if you plan to keep outside. Would buy again!!

Great Gift Idea!
We made a stepping stone for my dad with my two daughters’ footprints. We used the letter stamps to write “G-Daddy’s Garden.” Everything worked well and turned out great! If I did it again, I’d probably purchase different letter stamps that were less fancy so they would be easier to read. It’s not enough of a con to subtract a star; just my personal preference! I still love the product and would recommend it to others! We plan to use the mold to make another one for our yard!

Easy-to-use to create something special!
My 5yr old granddaughter and I like to take walks and collect seashells on the beaches in Rhode Island and i wanted a unique way to display them. I found this stone kit and thought I would give it a try! I did a trial on the table first and copied it over. It was very easy to use and came with plenty of tiles and gems so I have enough to make a couple more just would need more cement. I choose not to use the stamps because I wanted to use as many seashells as I could…i highly recommend this product it helped me create something extra special for my granddaughter so she will always treasure the memories we made this summer ❤ thank you for a great product!

Easy, looks great!
Gift for my mother from the grandkids. Super easy to use, follow instructions, smooth out mix in mold, let sit for 20 minutes. If there is any runnineaa left in mix it is not ready. I did it with a 1, 3, 5, and 6 year old and it was super easy. I had a wet rag to wipe their hands right after and it came off just fine. I purchased a cement sealer so they don’t get ruined in the rain. My mom will LOVE it!

Wasn’t what I was hoping for
I used this same brand about 10 years ago to make handprint stones for my son. I bought this on to make one for my daughter and the pieces of glass or stone were horrible. It looked like pieced of beet bottles broken including the bottom pieces that are rough as to not slip. Really strange. They were also very weird shapes and no at all the same as the ones I got 10 years ago. And the picture on the front of the box was the same as the ones I bought previously from micheals. I would not buy these from here again

Made this for a gift to a friend that loves gardening. She loved it and it’s more special since I took the time to make it. The kit was great – everything you need!

Pretty easy to use and make. Product is heavy so help would be needed for children making this. Lots of pretty stones and glass pieces….but not a lot of variation in the glass pieces….only yellow, green, orange, and blue…..but you could get different colours of mosaic pieces at a craft store.
