Was a little skeptical after a “flimsy, thin plastic replica purchase from Home…D.I held my breath, until the arrival of this item… I didn’t know what I would get/expect regarding the material (plastic used) for my starter seeds… “Thin, torn, flimsy or something else. These items are VERY WELL MADE! It CONSISTS OF A THICK plastic material, sure to withstand the sun, watering, and soil needed to sprout my seeds. “Finally, A good, (no) Very good product!!”Thank you!

Affordable and easy seed starters
These trays are easy to assemble, and so helpful. Our seeds fit in the cups well. The dome keeps in the moisture well and warm inside, so our seedlings popped up very fast! I wasn’t expecting them grow so quickly honestly, and I started them maybe 2-3 weeks too early lol. For some of my plants, like carrots and squash, I’ll have to put them in a bigger container and it’s only been a week.The containers breath well at the bottom and you can allow them to self water once the grow their own roots by filling the tray up with water. And I like being able to pick up the clear trays to check on the root systems. The kids think that’s so cool.

Works great. Affordable. Grow the best plants EVER!
I started the germination process with the seeds wrapped a damp paper towel inside of a ziploc, and then I transferred the seedlings to these mini greenhouses. We had many successful cucumbers, tomatoes, and bell peppers that were eventually planted into a raised garden bed.Next time, I’ll start with seeds directly inside of the growing trays.These are lightweight and practically disposable, but they work really well for their intended purpose. If necessary, you could probably clean them out and get 2 growing seasons out of them.

Lids don’t fit
The trays are good – there is the layer where you plant the seeds, and that sits on top of another tray that catches the dripping water. My only question is – are the supplied lids supposed to snap on? Because they don’t. In fact, they don’t fit at all. They are larger than the trays so they aren’t secured at all. I had to tape them down, and even then one lid blew off and was lost. I don’t think I would buy again as I expected the pieces to fit together.

Lightweight but great design
These are lightweight trays but work well. I love that you can lift the inner tray so you can manage moisture from the bottom. I’ll definitely be buying more once.

Works well for seed starting.
I got these for starting small groups of transplants where I didn’t want to tie up a large tray, and they worked well! The only problem I had with them is that I forgot to open up my plant tower on a bright, sunny, Summer day and the ones I left on the top rack melted and distorted – not the fault of the starter trays. They are a bit sturdier than my 72 cell starters and never cracked or broke during use. The water tray edges are formed over to provide extra durability and support and the cell trays are thicker and are clear to examine root development. These starters are great for putting on the window sill or under grow lights. I was disappointed to have ruined a couple of mine, but I’m sure I will order more when the need arises.

Just got these in the mail and they are perfect for starting seeds!Each tray comes with 12 pots, drip tray and a clear plastic lid with a vent attachment.I particularly like the vent addition to the lid because you can either keep it completely closed to keep higher humidity levels, or you can partially or fully have it open for less humidity depending on the plant needs or stage of growth.I also enjoy how convenient this set makes it for space requirements. I have all 10 of these trays on my windowsill but if I needed to move some to another area for different lighting or something, these trays make it very possible versus other seed starting trays on the market that tend to have all pots in a single wider and longer tray.Lastly, these trays come with 10 white labels to label your seedlings which was a nice touch and they were very easy to write on with a fine tip sharpie.
