Fell in love with this deck❤️
I was a beginning psychic reader when I purchased this deck. I knew I’d love it cause of the solid colors of the cards. Very good value cards to me. It made tarot reading easy and fun for me. The size is perfect enough where my hands are comfortably holding the cards.

You are the way
I had used two decks before purchasing The Modern Way. I never resonated with any of the card facings, but I thought I’d get there eventually once I had memorized and studied more. One night, I searched Tarot on Amazon like I had done countless times before, and Modern Way Tarot was the first option. This is my beginner deck. This is the only deck I will use. Pulling cards in other decks made me feel so disconnected sometimes. Not with Modern Way. The cards resonate with me deeply. I feel like I’m beginning to recall definitions on cards I haven’t studied, cards I’d never pulled before. They say that tarot is a way to decode what the universe is saying to you. And I finally feel like the universe and I are speaking the same language. The cards are beautiful. They’re sturdy. I shuffle sometimes for 5-10 minutes at a time until I feel I’m ready to be spoken to. And the cards look like they just came out of the box.The way I started learning tarot was so rigid, don’t do this, don’t shuffle like that etc. etc. But with Modern Way YOU are the way. Do whatever YOU do. The definitions are so easy to pick up and apply. And it’s so easy to see how different cards interact with other cards to get an overarching theme. I really can’t say enough good things. Buy this deck. Sit with it and let it speak. It may not be for everyone. But.. the other reviews are all saying the same thing. So it’s worth a try!

Great deck for all experience levels
From the moment I saw the beginnings of this deck posted online, I was really excited to get it. I love the bold colours, and traditional RWS tarot symbolism with modern design. The guidebook is well written, and contains a bunch of useful spreads. Lovely cardstock that is durable, but not difficult to shuffle. It comes in a fitted box, making it easy to store.Whether you’re new to tarot or have been reading for years, this is an excellent deck to pick up and work with.

The OG RWS but updated
If you’re like me, you don’t have a particular fondness for the original Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) tarot. No diversity and the pictures aren’t great. This deck brings the outdated art to the current times with its “computer graphic” like art, clean lines, and bright colors. There is not a lot of details on the cards to get wrapped up in and each card is easily recognizable. Deck is suitable for beginners, advanced readers, and collectors. I would definitely love to see a borderless and/or pocket size version. I definitely recommend this version of the famous Tarot especially if you are a fan of abstract art. Most of the figures are “shadowy” so I think this deck can be used for gentle shadow work, if that’s your thing.

Modern Feel
This is my absolute first set and I am absolutely happy to now own The Modern Way Tarot. It truly resonates with me. I recommend to anyone who likes an upgrade of the old way of doing things. Clean, simple with bright color contrasts is definitely my preference.

Best Tarot Deck
I love this deck. The packing is bright and beautiful, the booklet is short and simple. Honestly I have a lot of decks and this is my favorite. I usually use this deck to read for myself and it’s always a positive or motivating message I get. Idk if I just connect with this deck that well or someone sent this with some very good energy lol I love it!!

As a Beginner
I’m not sure why I was drawn to this deck, but I enjoy it. It seems like a fun deck to try and test your intuition with since the images just vary in color and contrasts – not so much in details. The guidebook is nice and informative – definitely good at giving concise introductions and meanings. It comes with two bonus cards, and the card stock is durable. Not too think or thin, it is durable plastic. If you’re in the mood to use a RWS smith that’s very different than the original RWS decks, then I’d recommend this!

Solid
Quite good card stock quality and unique designs. A little difficult to read occasionally, but not bad after you get used to it. The reference book is also detailed and very useful

Text in accompanying booklet explaining meaning ridiculously small print – very hard to read but interesting when disciphered!!

The important take-home for this deck is that it is easy to read, the symbolism of the standard RWS deck is there but in much simpler, bolder colours. The card stock is acceptable and the box is excellent – a nice thick card with a tight-fitting lid that contains all the cards and the book snugly. There are a few little bugbears though which justify me docking that one star.Firstly, and this is a common issue with most Tarot decks that continues to puzzle me: the cards are not linen embossed. This means that they have a tendency to stick together in repeating clumps when overhand-shuffling. I recommend using a riffle shuffle, corgi shuffle or nine-pile shuffle instead.Secondly, the card back design is not 180-degree symmetrical. This means that you can tell which cards are upright or inverted without seeing their faces. That might be a benefit to readers who don’t use inverted cards, since you can correct them before revealing them, but I’m not a fan. Still, that’s a very minor thing. My only other reservation is that on some of the cards, the ‘blue’ colour is very, very dark. This can make it a little difficult to pick out the black silhouettes in detail. These cards could have used more contrast. The booklet that comes with it is a little light on general reading techniques, but it covers the individual cards well enough which is what most people want. I’ve never seen a tarot deck yet that had a decent reference manual with it though. It’s probably worth splashing out on a decent reference book to go with the deck. Anything for the Rider-Waite-Smith deck will be suitable.Other than this though, a nice, easy-to-use deck, quality manufacture, good for beginners. I like the fact that the simplified images make it easier to spot the intended symbology and therefore less easy to obsess over small details in the art that are probably irrelevant.

Modern rws deck. A little stark sometimes, it reads quite harsh sometimes, I don’t use it for gentle readings or love readings. But it’s a nice deck
