I’m a landlord!
I bought this in 2023 to hang where I tossed some wildflower seeds. I rarely see bees in my area so I didn’t expect anything and completely forgot about it.This week I added a solar light to the area (for new puppy nighttime potty runs) and noticed my bee house has tenants! About 1/2 the tubes are in use – some with bits of grass and straw, and some with what looks like wax.The house itself is “weathering” and the joints are starting to separate a bit. I won’t replace it as there are tenants so I’ll just shore it up with some duct tape.Not at all disappointed in this purchase and may buy a second for another location.

The size was as described. It was easy to install, just hang it….that’s it. It is really cute, but I don’t know how long it will last. The string to hang was very flimsy. I also have not seen a bee go near it yet. So performance got it 4 stars. Maybe over the next couple months it will attract bees.

A cute, small Mason Bee house
As others have mentioned, these bee houses weren’t made to last so when I received them with the roof slightly off and a piece of the bamboo falling out, I wasn’t surprised. Because they were marked down to half price, I have the feeling that the manufacturer is now aware of the problems. I am prepared to reinforce the seams and glue the bamboo back in, so for the price the teal bee houses will work great.

Really cool, for like a month…
This little bee house is cute and we had solitary bees within a day or two going in and out and bringing mud and building nests in the bamboo… what I didn’t know, is that then they just sit in there for like a year or two… so we just have a house full of hibernating bees/larva sitting on our porch for the foreseeable future. Definitely works though!

BROKEN and very poor quality contruction
This bee house was so cute, I could hardly wait for it to arrive. The purple color was perfect. And then it arrived, damaged and in very poorly constructed condition… what a huge let down. Guess I should have believed all the other bad reviews that said this would happen. I was willing to try one more time, so sent back for an exchange. The replacement bee house arrived in mint green color! And also with the same poor construction. Had to return and ask for a refund. I’m still not sure if I was refunded, but it was not a positive experience, had to hassle with the returns, and still no bee house. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!!!!The odds of receiving a good bee house are NOT in your favor! Yes, it’s super cute, but it will be a big disappointment, unless damaged goods are your thing. Buy at your own peril, you’ve been warned!

I have a big one in my garden that is completely full of mason bee larvae so I felt I needed another one, they were so busy in my yard! I thought this was a good price for $18 as they are usually pretty expensive. Its sturdy and cute. I put it up a bit late but still had 2 bees nest in it. By next year, I’m sure it will be full in early spring! Worth the buy i think (make sure you put it up facing south in a sunny spot) 🙂

As soon as I received the product, I was satisfied, especially for the money it cost. It’s a simple Mason Bee home, however with a tiny amount of effort, and virtually no cost, I improved the product to last longer and to take care of some issues that some people had.Upon receiving it, I reinforced the back D-Ring and coated it with a rust proof paint, sealing in all the metal parts. I also filled in all the nail holes and repainted the outside of the wooden house with outdoor paint. I then added a clear coat to the roof of the house where the elements will be harsher.I am confident that this product will last me a long time with very little to no care, with exception of the tubes).All in all, even without all the stuff I did to it, it’s a good product for what they charge you. A great starter house for this looking to keep Mason Bees. I do recommend it.

Comprata da poco.Controllo quasi ogni giorno se ci sono api.niente.aspettiamo….. magari in primavera.sopra la casetta ho messo mezzo bottiglione di plastica per ripararla dalla pioggia. Speriamo che le api si fidano di questo ulterirore riparo….Se funziona comprero’ un’altra casetta…
