Did not include directions
This is a wonderful little kit. I used it to make candles for Christmas gifts. My only complaint is as a starter kit for a 1st time candle maker mine kit did not include directions. Directions on the website are translated from Chinese and not super clear. Luckily I just looked up a video online. Super easy and fun once you know what you need to do!

good first starter kit
I thought this was a great kit for 1st time. Candle, making the jar was very small for what I expected. However, I just made extra batches, which was fine.I melted the wax in the jar right on my stovetop, which is electric. It did not ruin the jar or my stove. Top, I did fill the wax all the way up. Since you need double wax for the container, you’re putting the wax in.The jar does get hot, so please use protection on your hands to not burn yourself. It does take quite some time for the wax to come to melting point. Especially because I had mine on low so to not burn anything, but but it did hold up quite well and was durable. i’m not really sure if it was a good value, but so far it was. it was also very easy to clean. Considering wax is not that easy to get off. The only downside is at the scent you use does somewhat stick to the container even after you’ve washed it.

Careful with your temps!
So this thing works great. I ran a trial for a 2.5 oz wax melt brick, and this thing melted the wax no problem. My only word of caution would be to watch your temperatures! Don’t just set this thing to 5 and call it good. My wax melted fast and quickly hit the 180F mark on setting 3. I had that brick melted, scented, dyed and poured within 5 minutes. For the price, if this is something new you’re getting into, go for it!
