The text on the ring is engraved and also lined with black coating so that you can look up close and actually SEE the engraving words! The rest of the ring is rounded, shiny mirror quality silver. Absolutly LOVE this. The overall idea of the ring and being able to have something written on it was nice, but the actual product was lacking. The written portion is nowhere as vibrant/visible as the images online (I know silly me). To view them it’s like you have to be in perfect light and at the right angle too.Update- Adam from Mignonandmignon reached out and rectified the situation to an improved conclusion.

This product is not as described at all, the engraving is of such poor quality. I am so upset as I bought this for a Christmas present and you cannot even see the name, as well as the engraving it’s done so poorly you have to shine a flashlight on the ring just to see anything at all. As well as there are no returns for this so your stuck with what you got.
