This is made of real jade, you can tell because the edges will not be perfectly smooth & the stone will have naturally occurring variations in the color. I have really enjoyed making this part of my nightly skin care ritual. It’s very relaxing, & it really helps with the absorption of those very expensive skin oils and serums we use.I found a very relaxing video to watch & learn how to use, it’s shaped in a way that goes with your natural contours.One thing, most people say to put it in the fridge, but it’s much better to use warm- as we are trying to increase blood flow and stimulate lymphatic drainage.I put mine after washing with antibacterial soap and warm water; in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. It will be HOT- but will give you time to apply your nightly oil or serum and be the perfect temperature by the time you’re ready to start!Love this thing in its cute box.

I put it off ordering a quartz roller/gua sha for a while, because I couldn’t decide if I wanted this one or a much cheaper set, and the options were a little overwhelming. I ended up going with this one because I liked the sounds of the manufacturer and what they stand for, and the reviews are excellent.I’m SO glad I did. It turns out, you DO get what you pay for when it comes to this sort of beauty tool.The artisanship put into this set, including its beautiful packaging complete with functional pouch and handwritten note, is a cut above the rest. I love the cooling feeling of the roller and Gua Sha. The tools have a solid weight to them, and the set came with a certificate of authenticity as well, so I do fully trust that I received what I paid for.I think it’s too early to really know if it’s ‘doing anything’ for my skin (other than feeling nice and spreading my serums out), but I can definitely say that it does something for my mindset and mood, because I feel more centered and calm when I use this roller.I’m very glad I bought this self-care set and I expect that I’ll be using it a lot.

Very good quality. I use it every morning. I like how it feels on skin – has that cooling effect because its natural stone. I also use disinfecting wipes before I use it and I put Vitamin E oil to massage the skin.
