RumbleRoller – The Originator of Deep-Tissue Rolling
The first foam rollers were smooth, and only used by a few physical therapists. But in 2009, foam rolling was forever changed with the introduction of RumbleRoller – the first true deep-tissue roller. RumbleRoller now manufactures a complete line of high performance foam rollers and massage tools.
RumbleRoller Basic Series Rollers – Simpler and Lower Cost
RumbleRoller’s Basic Firm and Basic Bumpy were engineered to provide exceptional value at the lowest possible cost. While not as effective as our Professional series products, they’re a great option for those who are just getting started with foam rolling.
Plus the Industry’s Best written promise
RumbleRoller stands behind these rollers with a robust lifetime satisfaction, plus a liberal upgrade policy to insure that you always have the right roller for your needs. Our company has been in business since 1990, and we take great pride in helping you achieve your goals.
Do You Need More?
RumbleRoller manufactures both Basic and Professional series rollers. If you’re on a tight budget, RumbleRoller’s Basic series rollers are a great choice because they’re super affordable. However, if you plan to use your roller for sports recovery or rehabilitation of an injury, please consider one of our Professional series rollers, such as the classic RumbleRoller or the RumbleRoller Gator. Why do these rollers cost less ?
These rollers are equivalent in quality to most similar foam rollers sold on Amazon.
RumbleRoller’s Basic series rollers are manufactured from common materials, including expanded polypropylene (Basic Firm) and standard EVA (Basic Bumpy). Their shapes are optimized for molding, not for user effectiveness. And they’re smaller in size than some of RumbleRoller’s Professional series rollers.
Why do these rollers cost more?
These rollers are known for their legendary effectiveness and durability.
RumbleRoller’s Professional series rollers are manufactured from proprietary EVA/polyolefin blends with much greater toughness and flexibility. They benefit from a more complicated molding process. And they’re backed by multiple patents and decades of research and development.
Customers say
Customers find the muscle roller effective for relieving pain and releasing muscle tension. They appreciate its quality, sturdiness, and value for money. However, some find it uncomfortable at first and take time to get used to the bumps, lumps, and grooves. Opinions vary on firmness and ease of use.

Great item
My back is in love with this

It’s good and firm, and just wide enough.
Does the job. I assume basic means not terribly cushy foam. That’s OK, because if you use a roller correctly, it’s going to hurt. This one does not baby your fascia. Gets right down to business. I was worried it would Not me wide enough, but, I can roll my back on it, and it covers me just fine. Recommended.

more durable than others
I have had this for a year, and it hasn’t given out on me yet. I was really happy to find it because the ones that are hollow tend to form cracks and break within six months, which is frustrating. I only weigh 120 pounds, but I really go through these stupid things at a quick clip. This one has held up longer than any other.

No instructions, no info on company website
The product page for the Basic Bumpy says it includes a 20 page instruction manual. I could not find that on the site the product insert directed me to. If you go to the Rumble Roller website, it’s as if the Basic Bumpy does not exist. I am going to keep this since it was low cost, but if you really care about having a Rumble Roller, get a standard one with all the same teeth. This Basic Bumpy looks like a generic roller that is being marketed under the Rumble Roller name as a complete afterthought.

A bit too stiff
The foam doesn’t give at all. So it hurts a bit when you roll on it. Takes some getting used to. After that, it’s OK.
