Nifty little dream machine, instructions could be better
This is a cool little sound machine with many different functions. I got it mainly because I wanted a dedicated device for playing soothing nature sounds while I fall asleep, so I wouldn’t have to take my phone to bed with me. Of course, this also means that I am not interested in controlling this device through the white whisper app. Luckily all the key functions can be set directly on the device via buttons. Operating the sound machine is pretty straightforward, but there is also a fairly detailed manual. However, that manual doesn’t explain every single function, and it took me forever to figure out the most important thing for me: How do you dim the clock display which is so bright by default that it could serve as a nightlight? Hint: You don’t use the button that’s called Light Control. That’s for changing the color of the light ring at the base of the device. Instead, you have to short-press the on/off button after you have turned the device on, which will then let you cycle through different brightness levels including complete darkness. Thank goodness!The 32 different sounds offer a wide range of options. Most are nature sounds, but there are also train sounds, a ticking clock (eeek!), and a bunch of soothing lullabys. I’ll probably stick to the babbling brook and crashing waves, although the heavy rain and thunderstorm are also tempting. I like that there’s a sleep functions (with 30 minute icrements) and even an alarm clock. Apparently, you can also use it as a bluetooth speaker if you set it up through the white whisper app.

Alarm was extremely lacking in my opinion. It doesn’t have any traditional alarm sounds. The alarm was easy to set but it did not go off at all or the sounds provided were too soft. The clock also would not stay connected to my phone so I will definitely be returning the device.

Misleading advertising.
Very small. I don’t think the description was clear that you have to continually recharge it with a USB. Cord is too short to keep plugged in.If you want a small travel alarm that takes up very little space, this could work.

– This is a good and solid sound machine. Has 32 sounds to pick from.- Love that it comes with a night light as I use the sound machine only at bed time and I do need a minimal amount of light.- Has timer and you can shut off the sound after a predetermined time.- Has an alarm clock but I have not needed to use the alarm function so can’t comment on that.- Comes with an app which I have not used as it seems like an overkill to me and more so since I have not seen anything the app can do that the buttons on the machine don’t.- Overall a great machine I am bey happy with and I would recommend.

I like the small size that makes it portable. Great for traveling. There are 32 sounds to choose from. I gravitates to about 5 of them. This sound machine helps me to concentrate and block out noises. Like that it shows the time. Easy to set up with bluetooth capability and convenient to use.
