Love it
I love that it is very sturdy and strong and provides a lot of shade. It is weather tolerable in this Arizona heat our second year having this. It really protects your vehicles from the sun. it also is very nice to be able to move the cars out and have gatherings underneath without having the heat bearing down on us. The color is beautiful, just as pictured has not lost any color at all. This by far was a good decision.

Excellent choice for a deck!
Super easy install. No worries about taking it down in winds. The color is visible from a distance! I use two one blue and one Red Cross cross over the deck. Even in 50 mph winds these were sturdy. Be sure to use long enough screws attaching it to the house. We used 4x4x 8 posts that we lag bolted into the decks frame..actually pretty simple for two 70 year olds. Be sure to measure correctly for your layout! We wove the solar lights from Amazon into the sails so they lit up at night. Beautiful!

Will retain water
I had grand plans to cover my back deck since it’ll scortch your feet in the afternoon. I installed hooks along the house, installed wood posts, and got steel cable in preparation. These look great, they feel very durable, and filter out the right amount of sun. They are a little heavy and stretched more than I was anticipating. I got everything up and taught and we had a short rain shower that evening. When I came out the next morning, they had snagged a couple of feet and foiled my plans for a backyard oasis. It could very well be operator error and my system but I ultimately decided to return them. If I can come up with a better support system, I would definitely buy again since they are a great value!

Just what we needed
The material on this item feels thick and of quality material. It came with string but we ended up buying carabiners for each corner bc we didn’t want to chance it with the string. The strings didn’t feel thick and strong. It looks fancy once it’s up. It had a lot of creases which are going away slowly as the sun hits it and creases smooth out. Super easy to use and put up. It covers what we need it to cover. As far as when the sund direction is facing and time of day some areas will not be shaded. The shape is also what we needed based on our yard. We hooked each corner on the walls of our house and got some beams from Home Depot to attach the other side to. Once it’s been sitting in the sun it will stretch so you’ll just have to adjust as it stretches.

Great shade protector
It fit like a glove. really well made. really helps keep the leaves out of the pool. provides shade, you can really feel the difference when you step under it and it still helps heat the pool. I tied it off to stretch it before I permanently mount it. well worth the buy, I have one over the goldfish pond and a 10×10 deck, 10×18 patio. they hold up very well.

Don’t follow measurements
The stars because the shade is of good quality but I followed how to measure based on what the seller suggested… the shade length is way off. One side is too long and one side is way too short. So much so stretching won’t be enough. Disappointing.

My main issue with this product is its UV protection. It’s described as providing 95% protection. In my experience, this is not accurate. As for the quality of the D-rings and stitching, the product is consistent with its online description. The charcoal colour is a light to medium grey, I was expecting a darker colour.
