Cute Chime Sets the Mood
Not a necessity for yoga but…….striking this little chime and listening to the resonance helps set the mood before yoga, and at the end. It’s just that little bit that enhances your yoga or meditation time and let’s your body know that it time for goodness. Seems well made, not sure what the tones are as I do not have a musical ear, but it sounds nice and the tones are clear and crisp and vibrate for a long time. Very cute.

It’s decent but not great. My last one had a better tune but I guess for the price point, I’ll be happy with this one. I’m using it to signal transition time in my classroom.

Nice, well made hand chime!
I love this hand chime! I ordered it on a whim because I’ve liked using one for yoga in the past, although never had one of my own. I am just getting back into doing yoga and happened to see this available. I know I don’t need this for yoga, but it is nice having it. I think it just adds a little something to my yoga sessions.This hand chime looks to be well made and durable. The wood, chimes, strings, and mallet seem to be good quality. I think the price is reasonable given the quality. It arrived in a plain box that would be great for gifting. The chimes produce lovely notes that ring out loud and clear, before slowly fading away. I have already used it twice and found it to be an enjoyable experience. I like it and am glad I ordered it!I don’t yet know how well it will hold up over time, since I just received it. I will update this review if I obtain more insightful information in the future.

Seems to be well made but not every loud and the pitch is off. I’ll be using this for transitions in my classroom but not sure if it will loud enough for a class of chatty five year olds.

Ringing Richly
The Deekec Hand Chime is a lovely, simple instrument. The hardwood base has been beautifully shaped, sanded, and polished to a soft sheen. The wooden mallet head is strongly glued to its stick, ensuring a clean strike against the polished metal chime. The strings supporting the chimes are securely screwed into the back. The way they are tied allows the chimes to be suspended. Their tones ring out freely and hang in the air before slowly fading away. Each chime has been cut to a precise length to determine the musical note sounded. The three tones are the C, D, and E above middle C.I give the Deekec Hand Chime a five-star rating. It is a beautiful, simple instrument that I recommend to music lovers, meditators, or teachers who want a gentle way to get attention in the classroom, perhaps.

Light, clear sound–soothes our disabled cat (I think)
Our disabled cat hasn’t walked in many years. We have hours-long petting sessions with him each day so that he has the human contact that he needs and feels loved. Most of the time following these sessions, we’ll gently put him back into one of his approved sleeping stations, and he drifts off again for hours.But sometimes he snaps into “alert mode” when he put him down.I thought he might like to hear a tone (or two or three), lightly played, so he could focus on it and fall asleep.If I’m translating the look on his face correctly, I think he finds the resonance soothing.This could also be used for meditation (for humans).
