Cozy Weight Blanket for Relaxing Time
picked this weighted blanket for my evening reading time and its pretty nice! went with the 12 pound one since im about 140 pounds and it feels just right. been using it for three weeks now while watching tv or reading and really like how the weight stays even – no bunching up in corners like my old one did. the microfiber feels soft against skin and doesnt make me overheat which is nice. got the twin size for my reading chair and its perfect – covers me without dragging on the floor. few things to watch out for tho – washing is kinda tricky cause its heavy when wet and takes forever to dry, sometimes the fabric shows marks from pets so keep those claws trimmed. beads stay put in their little squares thanks to good stitching but you can hear them shift a bit when moving around. temperature control is decent – not too hot in my warm living room but still cozy enough for chilly evenings. fabric is holding up well to daily use with no loose threads yet. makes evening downtime feel extra relaxing. just remember its smaller than regular blankets by design and definitely follow those washing instructions or youll end up with a lumpy mess.

The material is soft and smooth. Kind of cool. But not cold. Like a great thread count of sheets. Perfect for 1 person. So comfortable. I absolutely love it.I bought my 1st one 8 years ago, before they were really a thing here. It had to come straight from China and a sketchy online store there. I didn’t know what I was going to get and I cannot sleep without it. But it started to leak beads & we couldn’t find where they were coming from. This one seems to be well insulated and hopefully will last me at least 8 years.I washed it immediately and used it the 1st night it arrived and it is Wonderful.

Good blanket for hyper kids
This blanket really does help my toddler fall asleep fast and stay asleep throughout the night. Our teacher has recommended it as she uses one at school for naps and we have definitely seen improvement in his behavior especially in the mornings. The blanket itself is well made and the pockets of beads are squared off and closed so they beads don’t gather on one side of the blanket. The only downside of the blanket is that its not recommended to be washed a lot and with toddlers everything gets dirty so we had to custom make a duvet cover that we can take off and wash whenever we need to.

It’s a weighted blanket
Made of very good quality material with no holes or weird material spilling out after a few cycles in the washing machine. Keeps me nice and toasty in the winter months. Great to use if your watching a movie on the couch or just laying in bed. Very enjoyable. It is a weighted blanket however and I find it heavy at times especially when I’m just getting up in the morning or if it’s folded up.

Considering that I often like something lighter, I was skeptical about how a weighted blanket weighing twenty pounds may feel at first. On the other hand, I believe that this blanket had a special capacity to generate a soft and reassuring pressure, which resulted in a degree of calmness that was unexpectedly pleasant after a hard day. I seldom noticed the glass beads move about, even if I tossed and turned a little bit before settling down. The microfiber material had a plush and thick feel to it, and the glass beads were uniformly dispersed throughout the material. The fact that this blanket may be used for a variety of purposes was the aspect that jumped out the most. The air conditioner was turned down to a low setting when I used it on a hot evening in the late summer, and it still managed to offer a cooling effect rather than retaining extra heat. After that, as the temperature dropped into the autumn season, it kept me warm without causing me to sweat or get uncomfortable. Instead of putting it away as the seasons change, I am able to wear it throughout the whole year since its design is so breathable that it really lives up to the promise that it is suitable for all seasons.

Bo Bo Approved
This is my first experience with weighted blankets and so far, I am liking this one. It’s perfectly weighted to me, breathable, soft, well made. I read many reviews regarding quality but I have inspected this whole seam and it is double sealed, there are 2 visible seams, one above the other, and they are strong. Each individual pocket appears to be solidly sewn. I haven’t experienced any bead fall out. Bonus my cats are OBSESSED with the texture of the beads under their paws and bodies and just zonk out each and every time they lay on me with the blanket.

Lightweight and breathable but could be heavier
I’ve used weighted blankets to help w/ panic attacks for years. There are a few factors that make one good. First, in order to help w/ panic and overstimulation a blanket needs to weigh enough to put pressure on the body. This one is ok if you fold it over to double the weight. ( I weigh 145lbs) Also, the less the blanket weighs the easier to move it around and travel w/ it. Next, fabric. As with all blankets, it is nice to have cozy, soft fabric. However, w/ a weighted blanket if the fabric is too warm or not breathable, it will trap heat and you will be really hot under it while you’re already uncomfortable for other reasons. This one has light, airy fabric. But, it isn’t particularly soft. Overall it’s decent and will help w/ panic issues if used correctly.
