Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.

Product care

Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

    Good quality for occassional hiker
These are my first trekking poles. I have used them on two medium length, easy difficulty, day hikes. They work well. They are easy to unfold, adjust, and don’t slip or collapse when you put a lot of weight on them. They fold up quickly and don’t take up much room. They seem light and easy to use. (When I am using them, I am not thinking about their weight.)I’m now 70 years old and have friends who have fallen and been injured in ways that make life miserable for them. I feel like I am still in pretty good health, but these definitely do help prevent sliding and slipping on slopes or when going downhill on a wet trail. So I feel more secure when I am using them.I bought these based on reviews that suggest that they are good “middle range” choice. The quality is better than the cheapest poles and good enough for an occasional hiker like me. I didn’t want to buy $200 poles since I won’t be doing the Appalachian trail next year.I feel I got a quality product at a moderate price. I’m happy.

    ease of use
I liked that these are easy to open and close. They are sturdy and worked well as we climbed down the slippery slope of Mt. Etna. Also used in Iceland and they worked very well in the cold, no issues. They are light weight and fit in luggage without taking up too much space. They easily adjust for your height, so it is like they are custom made. I would purchase again.

Very decent poles, but grips are EVA, not cork
These are very decent folding trekking poles for a reasonable price as far as I can tell – but many people don’t appear to read or understand the instructions well (watching YT video helps) and leave negative reviews, which I think is not always deserved. The pole has a total of 5 sections: main fixed part (with grips), 2nd extendible part that slides into the main part (for adjustable length), held in place with a squeeze clip, and 3 fixed folding sections of which the upper section slides into the extendible part above. These need to be unfolded and extended to their maximum length and locked in place (at fixed length) with a click button. A cable runs through the 4 sections that as a whole can be removed from the main section. If you don’t set this up right, sections may seem loose or broken, but that happens if something is really broken inside. I think this risk is similar for other folding poles that I have been comparing, and there might also be issues with the button that some complain collapses inside the pole. The quality of all parts can vary between various brands, but these Trekology poles seem pretty good to me and I like the color blue. Unfortunately I need to return them, because the grip is EVA foam, made to look like cork, and not real cork (which is what I want). The loops are thinner and more flexible than other poles so they are softer but it is harder to get your hands through them. The cable through the poles is thicker than in other poles. I would have kept these poles if it weren’t for the EVA grips.

Great trekking poles for a hiking novice.
Trekology’s hiking poles are small enough to keep collapsed in a hiking bag and sturdy enough to carry me through a rigorous hike. As I’ve gotten old, I’ve had trouble getting out in wilderness and keeping up with my son. The poles have helped me make my way up steep hillsides and keep my footing on loose surfaces. They’re light enough that I didn’t feel they impacted my ability to move around but sturdy enough that I can lean on them while taking a break. They adjusted perfectly for my height and break down and reassemble quickly. They came with numerous tips for the poles and while I only used the default one it came assembled with, they look to be strong enough to last for a long time.

Solid trekking poles for the price
I bought these to give me much-needed support while trekking varying terrain throughout Costa Rica. I experience mobility and balance issues. I bought these to replace a cheaper pair I bought a few years ago for a trip to the Galapagos. These poles were much better, sturdier, and remained locked in place. They were easy to collapse and put back into the bag that accompanies the purchase.I recommend them, especially if you’re just starting out and want an inexpensive set to try.

Held up to a Week of Hiking in the Dolomites
One never knows how a product purchased on the web will perform. I purchased this model because I wanted something strong and lightweight with a shorter length. I also wanted it to fit in my luggage. I tested the poles locally on relatively flat terrain and they seemed fine. But the real test was whether the poles could support my weight on steep rocky terrain. The verdict – the poles held up to the terrain and also held up to snow and mud at the higher elevations. The grip was comfortable and the straps were just ok. The plastic at the end of the strap is a bit too bulky and often got pinched. against the grip. But given the value, flexibility, portability and foldability, the strap was a minor nuisance.

MAterailes muy ligeros y resistentes.Esteticamente destacable.

I’m really impressed by these cheap poles. I usually use expensive Leki poles, but wanted something small enough to go inside my rucksack if I’m scrambling or rock climbing.I didn’t want to buy lighter, but much more expensive, carbon fibre poles, as I didn’t feel I’d use them often enough. (I mainly planned to use my robust aluminium Leki poles still.)Putting these together, I was immediately impressed by how well-made they are. They actually feel slightly lighter than my Leki’s, but pack down to a much shorter length, so they will easily fit inside my rucksack.I’m 5’3”, and have preferred to use trekking poles set at a single length for 30 years now (regardless of whether I’m going up or downhill). The shortest setting on these (buying the shorter length option) feels very slightly longer than I’d usually set my Leki’s, but they will be far better than not being able to take poles with me.The handles feel comfortable, and I like that they came with a wide variety of pole end options, Velcro to keep the folded poles together, and a handy storage bag to carry them in. It is easy to snap the pole sections together, and the resulting poles are stable and sturdy.
