Bird Feeder – Attractive and Functional, But Needs Better Design
I bought this bird feeder hoping to attract more birds to my backyard, and it’s been pretty good overall. The design is charming, and it definitely adds a nice touch to my garden. It’s easy to hang, and the open style makes it easy for birds to access the seeds, which they seem to enjoy. I’ve had a lot of finches, sparrows, and even a few cardinals visit, so it definitely does the job of attracting birds.However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the seed capacity is a bit smaller than I expected, so I have to refill it more often than I’d like. The second issue is that the seed tends to spill out of the feeder if the wind is strong or if the birds are a bit too aggressive, making a mess underneath.That said, the build quality is decent, and it’s fairly sturdy. Cracked
I loved the feeder when I first received it. It is easy to refill The birds seem to lie feeding on it. Not sure how it’s already cracked after 2 weeks of usage via has been very cold and windy since Christmas here in PA so maybe that’s why the clear plastic cracked on the side. It’s still usable and I may need to get a replacement in spring time.

This feeder is highly recommended by the birds that I feed. I feed about 30 birds a day. Finches, sparrows and other species that are ground feeders. The mote is wide enough for the birds to perch and eat. I have seen 8 birds on the feeder at the same time. I had to replace a feeder after 8yrs because I dropped it and it broke. I bought this one hoping that there is enough room for the birds to perch and eat. I purchased one but I sent it back because it was to small for the birds to perch and eat. I don’t have Blue Jays or cardinals but I think they would be able to fit on this feeder.

Ease of filling
It was a lot smaller than anticipated and not the most heavy duty. The picture makes it seem more durable and better quality. I do like the color of the feeder though.

It’s a good little feeder, holds quite a bit of seed. Thin plastic…will see how it holds up in the winter, but have a feeling the brittle plastic will break. Decent value for the money
