Exactly what I was looking for!
I’ve been looking for a pit to house my Venus Flytrap at work, and these pots are exactly what I needed. Venus flytraps can be tricky to keep alive since they require constant distilled water (the pot I’m currently using started deteriorating). Since I am unable to monitor the water levels over the weekend, these pots are perfect – they ensure that the plant stays hydrated and thriving even when I’m not around. The pots are a little bit bigger than I expected, but I don’t mind as it gives the plant plenty of room to go. The package arrived quick and was easy to put together. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase!

Very good for plants, but difficult for a beginner
This product came with zero instructions, not even a picture on the box. I did not realize I had to install the wick prior to potting my plant. This required me to plant the violet twice, stressing it twice. Then I had no idea how much wick went where or how much water to put in the base. So then once I had it put together I realized the wick was covered in potting soil and thus quite unsightly. Once the base is placed on the bottom water container it did not come off easily which sent my violet flying. Then I had to repot it a third time! It may, or may not, turn out well. Maybe this is something that should be second nature to an experienced person, but it was not for me. Beginners: plot your actions step by step before assembling. This item was made in China. UPDATE: Now that these planters have been in use for a while, I find them very useful. My African Violets seem to love the direct/continual water feed.

Saved my african violet!!
I had bought a different planter previously and it nearly killed my African violet because it did not work with absorbing the water. I found this one on Amazon decided to try it and it is perfect! It does what it says it will do. My African violet that was nearly dead, has revived. You can see the picture for proof. Thank you so much for a planter pot that actually works like it’s supposed to.

It’s an ok pot
Initially when you put your plants in it, it looks great. The wick at the bottom doesn’t really help with watering the plant that much, but it’s ok, i’m not totally relying on that. The diameter of the pot is suitable for small house plant and the walls of the pot is pretty straight, which i like. The only thing is, after using it for a while, since the bottle part of clear, it looks horrible since algae starts growing. The top and bottom part of the pot is locked in pretty tight and i also dropped my plant trying to open it for cleaning.

Wasn’t sure, but convinced!
I was unsure of how I felt about these. I do love them, though! Once I realized how to snap on the bottom, I knew it was a perfect fit for my plants, me, and the decor. I wanted something to help my plants grow, and I wanted a decent size. I love that they’re self watering. I’ve seen such a change in my pants since getting them.

I ordered these because the watering system was exactly what I needed for my indoor plants. Based on other reviews I was a bit worried about what the quality of the product would be. I am delighted with the quality of these after receiving them today. They are perfectly fit for purpose and the quality of the plastic is very good. They fit together snuggly, and I love the transparent water well so that you can see when the water is getting low. My plants will be very happy.
