Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

With his expert teachings, philosophical insights, and pragmatic imagery, world-class yoga instructor Tias Little turns the anatomy of the physical body into a tool for navigating the subtle body
If you spend considerable time doing yoga, you begin to see that it is about much more than just the body—the practice of yoga in fact reveals that the body is in no way separate from the psychospiritual forces that animate it. Here, Tias Little provides a way to understand these forces as they relate to an integrated yoga of body, mind, and spirit. He unites somatic concepts and wisdom teachings in this practical guide to the anatomy of the physical, mental, emotional, and subtle (or energetic) body. Little is a master teacher who offers us a guided tour of the body’s structure and physical anatomy, then uses this new structural awareness as the basis for exploring the subtle body. In a meaningful and pragmatic way, the book maps the connection between the body and the rich symbolism that pervades the yogic imagination, including the chakras, nadis, and koshas. Further, Little offers readers clear, insightful yoga, pranayama, and meditation exercises that apply these body-mind principles.

A beautiful, poetic guide from the noisy cluttered mind into the quiet rivers of the Subtle body.
This book is beautifully written and organized! Tias is a true, genuine, one of a kind poet of the body, breath, soul, prana, energy- a beautiful guide into our own soma/subtle body simplified into slowmoving pathways/sequences of movement that nudge us from the noisy mental into quiet, thoughtful whole body awareness.

I absolutely love the focus on the Chakras being around the nerve …
An incredible and insightful look into the mystery that is the interior of the human body, weaving together yoga practice, science, mythology, anatomy and Chakra theory. I absolutely love the focus on the Chakras being around the nerve plexuses, physical structures inside the body and how they relate to yoga. This book made the subtle body and chakras more real and tangible for me, whereas many books on the subject focus on the mystical energy system and feel un-grounded and unrelatable to normal people and teaching a regular yoga class.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Chakras and the subtle body but feels the current popular knowledge on the subject is too philosophical (or difficult to relate to in a realistic sense). The insights in this books help connect lofty mystical theory, with the physical elements of the body and into the moving meditation that is your yoga practice.Would Highly Recommend.

Incredible!
If you are at the ‘give up’ point in your yoga practice because your body will not respond, READ THIS BOOK!Once you are done reading this book, you WILL be at a whole different level, not just in your yoga practice but your awareness of your own body. Caution…If you don’t know your human anatomy, you will need an anatomy book or Google very close by and it is SO worth it.I am so grateful I found this book when I did! I hit a plateau in my yoga practice and was unable to move past some simple poses. With Tias Little’s deep understanding of the human body and deep human connection to chakra’s, my understanding of where my body was struggling was provided light. Doing just a few techniques in the book, I have broken through my plateau and I no longer see restrictions, only possibilities.

Tia Little’s “Yoga of the Subtle Body” is a beautiful and artful treatise of the physical
Tia Little’s “Yoga of the Subtle Body” is a beautiful and artful treatise of the physical, spiritual and mystical foundations and qualities of the ancient practice of yoga. Tia pulls backs the covers of the human body – its dynamics , physiology and spirit, from the soles of the feet to the crown jewel of the head. Rich with illustrations, “Yoga of the Subtle Body” is a book to savor and refer back to again and again as your practice deepens. I highly recommend this manual to anyone who wants to take their practice to the next level, both on and off the mat.

Invaluable Insights
I was truly blessed to study with Tias and his wife, Surya, at their studio in Santa Fe for three years. As my own yoga teaching career has grown, the wisdom they gave me has been a daily source of inspiration. I have often wished I could go back for a refresher, and after reading this book I feel as though I have. It is a true godsend. Tias manages to present deep spiritual and physical insight with good humor and easily understood symbology. He distills information from texts that are much more difficult to penetrate and combines it with his own invaluable observations. The result is both dense with data and highly accessible. Whether you are a seasoned instructor, a dedicated yogi, or a novice looking for a path to self-healing, this book is a must-read.

Educational
I learned a lot from reading this book. It weaves yoga anatomy and philosophy, and incorporates health and practical applications for yoga poses and flows. I only wish there were more illustrations to explain the practice poses. There are some but I don’t feel they are enough. I found myself looking up poses to better understand what was being described.

Best book on Yoga I have read
If you are already doing yoga and ready to take it to the next level, this is the book to read and re-read. More than read, it is a book to study and practice, not a book to read in one go. Great balance between theory and practice and great elaborations on anatomy and comparisons between yoga and Qi Gong…

Not especially an easy approach, but very interesting and beautiful written from a author who obviously have achieved an ocean full of insight and practical experience which he shares. Just wonderful. Take your time and get wiser. Thank you.
Mark Killeen –
This is not a book about how to do yoga poses. It’s a book about the deeper more subtle aspects of the practice. Excellent for seasoned students and yoga teachers. It’s become my favourite yoga book and I read and re-read it regularly. The analogies the author describes are so original, imaginative, and simply beautiful.

My sister is a yoga teacher and loves this book. I read it myself as a supplement to my meditation practice, and it blends ancient mysticism with modern anatomy knowledge seamlessly. Perfect for anyone interested in the yogic tradition or looking to teach it.
