So good on my back
I love love love my mattress! We use it in my son’s playpen, and it has the best cushion but yet is firm and flat. I have slept on it several times and I always feel great when I wake up. My boys love laying on it and my youngest can fall asleep very quickly on it. It’s nice that it can be rolled up for storage when needed.

The product was instantly sun dried when I opened it. Appearance is aesthetically appealing. Good quality and weight seems perfect for a bed. Would buy again. This futon helps me with my sciatica pain. After moving to a too soft bed to a yoga mat and getting good results (improvement in pain), I decided to try a futon mattress placed on top of run sitting on a hardwood floor. The queen sized model gives me enough room to stretch out which the yoga mat did not. Its kind of harsh on your butt but you have to get used to it. After going to this futon, I wake up pain free. I do see the necessity to switch to a firmer matrress inevitably but this futon is a cheaper way of getting that confirmation. Rate this a BUY based on very favorable Price to Utility.

If you’re expecting a traditional Futon then don’t buy this.
It’s okay, and it works fine as a guest bed when unexpected guests come over, but otherwise, this is not a type of futon that Japanese authentically use, it’s not very padded, the description says the thickness is 2 inches, but it quickly flattens when used, its not something you’d want to use permanently. It is comfy though and can help keep you warm during cold nights, also better than just sleeping on the floor.Pros: comfy, easy to fold, easy to carry, nice quality, compact, overpriced.Cons: not very padded, basically you still feel the floor underneath you, doesn’t actually provide any additional support, it’s basically no better than a sleeping bag with a blanket over it (seriously) honestly not worth the price, I got this on special and with a coupon for 80$ so I can’t complain too much, but just go to big 5 and get a sleeping bag it’ll probabaly cost a lot less and at least you can test it out before easily returning it, still debating wether i want to keep this thing, it just isn’t firm at all. the same as stacking 3 thick blankets together, nothing special.

Great for the price
It’s actually much more comfortable than I was anticipating. I got the queen size and tested it out on it one night. I ended up folding it in half for extra cushion, and I was perfectly comfortable for the whole night. That said, I have it laid on top of carpet, which definitely helps with the comfort. Don’t expect it to be able to fit back into the bag it comes in, but the attached ties are really helpful for keeping it rolled up. If I were looking to get a futon to replace a western bed, this might be a little too thin to start, but as a mattress topper for pull out sofa, or even on its own for a kids sleepover, this is a great product.

Serves its purpose
Not too expensive and comes with a bag to store it in. I thought it would be a little thicker and that it would expand more over time after opening it but it didn’t. Still on a carpeted floor it is comfortable enough. The upside is that it’s easy to store and the included a bag to easily put it in. For its convenience when not enough beds for guests this serves that purpose and therefore I recommend.
