First let me say up front….I know Michael Stevenson, I have taken classes from him and consider him a friend.I also pride myself on being person of integrity who shares with others only those products I find helpful and to think they will be of benefit to others.This latest book by Michael is such a product. “The NLP Trainer’s Guide Book: The Complete Guide to Success and Prosperity in Training” is a little book – but it gives you a lot!While written for NLP trainers who want to conduct their own traniing events the system Michael shares can be easily adapted to promote just about any training event.The chapters are short and to the point. The first six chapters deal with what I would call preliminary foundational concepts (The benefits of running your own NLP events, the need to learn more about marketing, why you want to conduct own events and why you may not, the need to work on yourself in order to succeed, being a model and example, etc).After the opening chapter Michael provides a step by step, day by day list of actions you need to take over a 40 day period in order to produce and run your training.Yes …it is a 40 day program written out for you!He tells you what you need to do, the actions you need to take each day in order to have a successful program.Now this is not a 1500 page, in depth treatise on producing, promoting and running a training event.But it is a short concise guide that provides a “this is what you need to know and do to get your program/event up and going” action guide.In short that is what the book is…it’s an action guide. Not a book filled with theory, but one filled with doable, practical steps to produce a successful event.And you are guided what to do each day for 40 days.So I recommend this book for your library.Make the investment -especially if you are a NLP trainer who is looking to produce your own events.The book is worth the investment…and so are you.
